Have driven past Cornerstone in Sonoma many times, but this is the first time we have visited it. Strolling through the creative gardens is free. It is a photographer's delight...watching the changing light reflect off of crystal trees, seeing tree shadows move along a blue-striped wall, relaxing beside the lotus pond, taking photos of prism light reflected through a sculpture,... This was so much more than I anticipated. There is a sculpture garden tour that is amazing, a wonderful local gallery and interesting shops: garden store, salvage shop. Great, great.

Stopped here between two winery reservations. Did no tasting and no eating. But spent a good amount of time wandering around the garden artwork - some very interesting pieces. Special exhibit the day we visited was fun. A lot of the art is from recycled materials so it is always fun to see what is possible from things you no... More

The owner of Bump Wines recommended a stop at this amazing place, and I am so glad she did! It has something for everyone: a casual restaurant with delicious aromas of pizza and fresh herbs wafting out over the gardens, some very lovely shops selling cool gadgets, clothes and gardening supplies, a recycled architectural/garden shop, and a winery. But for... More

A cool place at the gateway to Sonoma. There's small art galleries, restaurants, sculpture, gardens, a giant blue chair, etc. A great place to explore.

It is said that “gardens are a collaboration between art and nature.” At Cornerstone Gardens, they would extend this and say, “art, nature, and architecture.”  These 26 plots of land are described as “an ever-changing series of walk-through installations, showcasing new and innovative designs from the world’s finest landscape architects and designers.” When commissioned, the artists were given the freedom to create anything from... The curbside Giant Chair and Drunk Fence give you a hint of what is inside. I spent some time talking with the people in the information office and they gave me great tips for winery visits and vouchers for freebies so worth going inside and asking. The grounds art installations were unique, interesting and full of photo opportunities. We didn't... More

We were at Cornerstone complex-gardens/wedding/galleries and Meadowcroft wine tasting store. The wedding was wonderful, the food excellent and unique. We had time to drop in for tasting at Meadowcroft Wines before the wedding.Their wines were so good that we joined the wine club. Two great finds.
