We did both Napa and Sonoma tours and found them both great and providing a variety of wineries to visit from commercial to boutique. Some provided the wine-making process others gave tours of the vineyard. The ride on the trolley was beautiful. The open air cars were great and it was so nice not to drive after all the wine... Had a great time! With so many wineries in the area it was great to sit back, enjoy the scenery and know that each winery was expecting us! The selection of wineries was great and refreshing to visit the smaller wineries that take such pride in producing some of the best wines from the area. The trolley driver was great and... More

If you only have a day or two in Sonoma, the trolley is a fun way to see a bunch of wineries, meet some fun people, learn about the town and the wines and be outdoors. It is a fun thing for less enthusiastic "winos" as it is easy to sit out a tasting if you need a break. Fun... More

Loved it! We got more than was told and almost all the wineries catered to your taste buds. The only one we didn't enjoy as much and got a cold reception was Imagery. They seemed to think they were above and beyond any other winery, which wasn't the case. My personal favorites were Ravenswood and Buena Vista. Everyone was friendly... More

The advertised price is a bit high for a wine tour. You might be able to justify it if you're on holiday and you think 'why not?'. But if you think of it rationally you might see you get little for $99. Well, not little - you get to ride around the converted trolley to wine farms. That is it.... More

Thank you for taking the time to write a review for us on our Sonoma Valley Wine Trolley tour. I am sorry that you thought the $99.00 price was not competitive and or inclusive enough fee. However, if you shop our competitors, you will see that most all “Group Daily Tours” start at $99.00 and run upwards of $250.00 pp.... More

Great experience! The vineyards they chose to visit were each unique in their own ways...the tour guides at the vineyards experienced and willing to share their love of wine and little known facts. The trolley driver was superb! Added great little tidbits along the way and was very accomodating to each passenger! Well worth it!

The trolley ride itself is fine, and the driver was friendly... but there wasn't much history-telling and even if there was it would not justify the cost! Lunch was deli sandwiches! Not even a decent meal while you're in the vineyards, to compliment the wine experience. The price is basically for the ride - you must still pay a 15-20%... More

We were looking for a good way to tour a bunch of Sonoma wineries in one day and ran across the Wine Trolley. We thought it might be a bit hokey, but it turned out to be great way to sample a range of offerings around the town. We toured four wineries in and around Sonoma, including a couple of... More

I happened to be in Sonoma by myself for 2 days, as part of a larger trip. Being there, it felt like it would be a shame to NOT try out some wineries! On the suggestion of my hotel front desk I signed up for the Wine Trolley. Being on my own, the trolley was a great way to meet... More

If you are in Sonoma, you HAVE to take the wine trolley! It was, hands down, the best part of our trip! Will, our guide, was so fun, and the entire day was perfect! Lunch was phenomenal and the wine tastings were great! If you are in Sonoma, you do not want to miss this experience. We will most certainly... More
