Great spot for laid back tasting (delightful wine, both red and white) and a picnic in a gorgeous setting. The hosts were knowledgable and clearly enjoyed their guests and the wines they were pouring. There are on property hikes as well!

The park and the setting is very nice but all in all, this is just an ok boutique winery. There are much better ones nearby. The woman pouring offered no information and was somewhat on the frumpy, grumpy side. There was just a blah air about the place. No one was interested in talking , explaining or sharing. I would... Full disclosure - I am a Bartholomew club member. This is a small winery off the beaten path about 3 miles from the Sonoma village and traveling from the village will take you by many other wineries. Bartholomew wines are quite good, subjective of course, and only available at the winery. We go frequently to taste, a free perk of... More

We were roaming sonoma looking for a place to not just taste the wine, but make it an experience we will not forget. This fit the bill exactly!! You drive in very off the beaten path after passing many larger wineries and find this gem tucked away. The wine tasting was very well presented and the wines were very good,... More

The wine tasting here was a much more enjoyable experience and the wines were more to our palette. After our earlier tasting at another winery where we did not enjoy the wines or tasting much, this was pleasant and nice. We liked a couple of their wines enough to buy and glad we did. The museum is interesting if not... More

Bartholomew Park is a nice area to take pictures and stroll around. Their museum was very interesting as well. Their wine tasting cost was reasonable, but neither my husband or I were overly impressed with the wines.

We had an outdoor tasting with food which was both excellent and a lot of fun. The young women who did the tasting knew what she was talking about and was very helpful. A nice way to spend an hour or two. They also have a huge park and picnic tables. Oh, and their wine is superb.

After a poor experience at a nearby winery, this winery was a pure joy. Fabulous wines only available from the winery and Kit was the consummate hostess. She provided a great history of the winery and in depth information about each wine. The Zinfandel in particular sw outstanding.

I feel torn on how to rate this place. On the one hand, the place is an excellent place to stop and picnic, particularly if you're doing the biking circuit. It has nice availability of picnic tables that look out over a vineyard. If your doing the bike circuit, it's worth a stop just for that, though I warn that... More

We rode our bikes to the winery from Sonoma Mission Inn (easy/flat ride), and we LOVED the people and the atmosphere at Bartholomew Park. Bob poured our wines, and he was very friendly, knowledgeable but not pretentious (which I really appreciate). It's one of the smallest wineries in the area, and so it feels a bit like stepping back in... More
