I highly recommend using Sonoma Valley Bike Tours for rentals in Sonoma. The bikes we rented were all in great shape (almost brand new), comfortable, and perfect for taking in a beautiful day in wine country. Jay and Lyn at the shop were extremely helpful and aided us in setting up a perfect itinerary for the day. Our group of... More

We were very happy with our rentals from Sonoma Valley Bike Tours. The bikes were current year Specialized Roubaix, a great bike for casual roadies and perfect for some hilly rides. We took one of their maps for the Carneros ride, a nice up and down route with very little traffic. On the second day we downloaded a map from... More

Thorne was our guide, and this activity was the highlight of our trip. My wife isn't much of a biker, but we went slow enough & the 3 wineries we saw were all fairly close, so we didn't get sweaty & gross. Getting to bike inside the vineyards was amazing. Tasting the grapes off the vine & spending as much... More

A fabulous way to spend a day. Took the tour with Thorne. He was knowledgeable, fun, and a great leader. Three couples in all. (Met the other two couples that day.) The weather was spectacular. Kia at the store was helpful and Amanda brought some delicious food for us to enjoy. Rode through bike paths, small roads, up to the... More

Thorn our tour guide and Mike our host were the best! We loved this tour and the weather could not have been more perfect. These guys take you into the wineries where many are not even allowed through. We saw 3 different vineyards, biked about 12 miles, 10 in our group, no crashes, great pace and well worth it. I'd... Took this tour with Mark, our guide, and his sweet dog, Isabel! We had a wonderful time and learned more about vineyards and wineries than I'd learned in the rest of my life. Excellent bikes and equipment, good for almost any athletic ability level and a delicious picnic lunch delivered. Great job picking up our purchases and having it ready... More

Did this with 3 friends this weekend. So fun. The bikes are in great condition. They will deliver your picnic to a few wineries. They even pick up the wine you buy and bring it back to their shop. They threw in a cute water bottle and a cliff bar. Super easy day. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed our tour. It was a rainy September afternoon at first, but our guide Paul did a great job and mitigated the bad weather. He was very knowledgeable about many subjects including winemaking and everything else. We went to the Gundlach Bundschu and the BV wineries. Nice size group. Paul took good care of us within town.

Can't say enough good things about this tour and company. My wife had broken her arm two weeks before and we called ahead to see what our options were. They recommended the tandem bike but said to come by the day before to see if it would work. They didn't want us to have to pay the full price to... More

We had a great time. We were delayed a little because our original tour guide didn't show up, but Thorn filled in and we had a blast. He biked at the pace of our group and the lunch was great. We went to three wineries. I would highly recommend doing this if you enjoy biking. There were a few hills,... More
