Oh My Goodness!! I went with a group of 20 friends to Ravenswood for a wine blending experience! This was set up in advance, of course, due to the size of our group. They had us in a wonderful private room apart from the main tasting room. It was full of casks with tables set beautifully for us. Our host,... More

This was the final stop on our Goodtime Touring bike tour, and it was so much fun. The vibe is really casual and upbeat. Our server, Peter, was really enthusiastic and engaging! I loved the experience and their Zins are fantastic!

I've been to Ravenswood in the past a few times so while traveling as part of a group this time, I "dragged" everyone here. Glad to say that everyone enjoyed the wine and sitting out on the hill, This place is a winner. I wish they offer even more of their Zins back in Ohio. Well worth a visit.

Visited this winery on a limo winery tour through Sonoma, this place was so friendly and the wines were great and reasonably priced so we became wine club members. The winery itself has two tasting areas indoors, and then a patio outdoors where one can taste. You can bring your own food to picnic - members can use a VIP... More

Ravenswood Zinfandel is always good and their reserve bottles available only at the tasting room and even better.

We went here as it was right down the road from where we are staying. The people pouring the wine were very liberal with their pours and I probably ended up tasting a couple more than the 5 allotted tastes that come for the $15. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Ended up buying a bottle of the Dickerson 2010. All... More

Ravenswood was the first winery my husband and I have ever visited because the name sounded very familiar. The property is amazing and so peaceful. Merrill helped us out behind the counter and he's great at what he does. Not knowing much about wine, he was very patient and very informative. In the end, we bought a glass of wine... More

While Ravenswood has kept up with the competition, expanding since I last visited their original tasting room decades ago, I was pleased that the quality of the wine and the essence of who they are has not been lost. Zinfandel lovers will not be disappointed. The rosato also is nice. Fabulous views from their patio beckon visitors to relax and... More

Completely surpassed my expectations. I expected something commercial, given how common Ravenswood is in grocery stores. But the winery was small and intimate, the tasting was wonderful with very generous pours, very friendly people working there. We enjoyed a cheese plate with a couple glasses of wine on the back patio and had a wonderful time.

Excellent visit to Ravenswood with friendly service and nice views. This winery had great wine that covered a lot of ground. True, they obviously specialize in Zinfandels, but our tasting had 2 whites, a rose and a muscat in addition to the four Zins poured. All were very good. I think the fee was $10 or $15 but was waived... More
