Excellent visit to Ravenswood with friendly service and nice views. This winery had great wine that covered a lot of ground. True, they obviously specialize in Zinfandels, but our tasting had 2 whites, a rose and a muscat in addition to the four Zins poured. All were very good. I think the fee was $10 or $15 but was waived... More

A friend with great wine sensibility told us that Ravenswood was our ONLY "must-do" in Sonoma. I was skeptical because I knew they were a high-volume winery and I expected a very commercial experience. This was precisely the opposite. We were warmly welcomed, and Peter customized to some specific wines that our friend had recommended. We decided to sign up... More

We took friends to Ravenswood based on its reputation for being casual and laid-back, like California Wine Country has always been (but maybe less and less so over in Napa Valley). The wine was great and our pourer was friendly, informative, and funny. We all really enjoyed our experience.

The tour presents the organic small house vintages, not the massive 800,000 bottle operation. While the winemaking is no longer done on premises, the setting is rustic with a lot of charm, and the hosts are friendly and knowledgeable.

My husband and I always make it our business to visit Ravenswood when we are in Sonoma. Our first time there, I reserved a blending session w Peter... A fantastic experience that every person who loves wine should try.

Enjoyed the tasting room, learned a lot about Zins and the history behind the winery. Great customer service and no pressure, just enjoy the wine. Make sure you ask about their slogan--no wimpy wines.

The wine-tasting is not any better than at other places, the wines here are not any better (almost anything the wineries offer for tasting will be great). But at Ravenswood there is an opportunity to go for a walk among the vineyards and that was wonderful.

This was our first (of 5) stop on our winery tour of Sonoma! We came to the conclusion of all the wineries we visited... Ravenswood was bar far THE BEST WINERY of them all! The staff was amazing and the grounds/vineyards were beautiful!! We tasted 5 wines and definitely got our monies worth of wine! The staff member who spent... More

We had a group of 6 for the blend your own wine tasting (make reservations). SO MUCH FUN. and we got to take a bottle of our blend home!! The rest of the tour was great as well. I highly recommend this tour and most especially the blending class.
