Sebastiani's Cherryblock is our favorite Cabernet Sauvignon! Today we were warmly greeted in the tasting room by Jodi who shared her knowledge of some of their newly available wines -- the 2010 and 2011 Cherryblock, the 2012 Gravel Bed Cabernet Sauvignon, and the 2012 Old Vine Cabernet Sauvignon. The historic winery tour is very interesting; and the gardens surrounding the... More

We had made a reservation in advance for the Wine and Chocolate tasting but when we got there they told us it had been cancelled. Luckily they were still able to accommodate us but we were confused as to 1) why it had been cancelled and 2) why we had not been informed in advance. We sat at one of... More

I have been to many winery tours and the Sebastiani tour is unpretentious, yet sophisticated. Its full of great information about the history of the family business and wine making. It is a particularly nice stop in the center of Sonoma with a lot of great shopping and restaurants I recommend this tour to anyone, whether you are a newbie... More

My group of 12 had a beautiful backdrop for our boxed lunches and wandered around. The place is beautiful. They made all our food fresh and had it waiting for us.

We were very fortunate to have Jasmine give us a private tour of the winery. Her knowledge and enthusiasm was incredible. We learned so much from her and we have been to many wineries and tastings before. They have a large collection of hand carved casks that are wonderful. We were pressed for time so she allowed us to share... More

We were at Sebastiani on a weekday so the crowds were not in force and it allowed the gentleman (Sorry, I did not make note of his name!) to give us the proper attention even while he was multi-tasking getting set up for a large, pre booked tour group. He even allowed us to slightly alter the wines in our... More

Sebastiani has a really interesting history and the largest collection of old wood wine barrels. Matt had given us a private tour and tasting, he was very knowledgeable and we really enjoyed our visit. My parents are avid fans of Sebastiani and always have a case of their wines at home, so it was nice to try their other selections... More

We were taking by our family to visit this winery for a wine tasting. Having never been at a winery for a tasting before we opted to have both lists of wine (one was $10 and the other was $ 15 for five samples). Our guide was extremely helpful in explaining the different wines and styles we were sampling. He... More

A friend recommened the Barbera, so we stopped in on a slow Tuesday afternoon. I'm not sure if it was the end of the day for Kathryn but she wasn't very engaging. I explained I was there to buy the barbera and asked if the tasting fee is waived with purchase. She replied that it wasn't. $25 for 5 tastings,... More
