The winery was enjoyable and the public area was cool. We had a tour that allowed us to see limited areas of the winery. It would have been disappointing except for 2 aspects. Our guide (Matt) was friendly, interesting and it was a good discussion the entire tour. Secondly, we had the impression that Sebastiani was just cheap wine... we... More

We had a wine tasting with Sherry, which made this an excellent experience for first timers. She was very passionate about teaching us everything and anything there is to make us look like a pro. Glad we stopped here first. Beautiful grounds, awesome service and excellent wines

We were fortunate to be in Sonoma on the last Friday of the month and went to Sebastiani where the parking lot is filled with food trucks with something to appeal to everyone's taste--barbeque, Mexican, fish and chips to name a few. Inside you can taste wine, but we bought a bottle and enjoyed it outside on one of the... More

We stopped by here after a disappointing visit to another winery. The building and grounds were great and the tour was really nice because our guide Marvin showed us the magic of wine making. He made us feel good about stopping in and taught us art of making wine. He then led our wine tasting, the guys had the reserve... More

This is a wonderful winery. Parking is ample, the courtyard with fountain has outside seating with tables. The entry doors are massive and beautiful which open up to reveal a massive yet beautiful tasting/sales room. The standing style tasting bars are long, which allows for lots of simultaneous tasters, the staff is plentiful and knowledgable who pour the countless and... More

We stopped in 20 minutes before tasting time ended and were grateful that for a reduced fee they were willing to let us taste two wines, and off of either the standard or reserve menu. That tasting went fast, however, as the young, inexperienced woman they had serve us made us pay up front and then spent no time at... More

Considering the winery is meant to be one of the oldest and experienced in Somoma, it seems to have lost it's touch. Our hostess seems disinterested in speaking about the wine or pairing wine with food- only a few phrases to describe each wine. it was very basic information which we could have read right off the sheet ourselves. This... More

This chocolate and wine tasting was SPECTACULAR!!! A great value for the $30 fee. Our hostess, Julie, was so personable and very knowledgeable, both about the wines and the history of the winery. We lucked out that instead of having the maximum 10 participants, only my friend and I were in attendance. Score!!! Enjoyed all the wines offered, and the... More

This was an interesting counterpoint to our other tour which was the Hess Collection. Sebastiani offered a more informative tour, but it seemed like a winery dropped into a downtown location . Not very picturesque. The staff were friendly , but seemed a little rushed. I had booked our tasting online and they never could end up finding it. Overall... More
