This is the most beautiful winery we visited. And the wines were exceptional and reasonably priced. I would highly recommend adding this stop to your itinerary. And Lorenzo was exceptionally helpful. Thank you for a great experience!

Wow, wow, wow! The view itself is completely worth the stop. After tasting we chose a favorite, and sat outside with a glass overlooking the breathtaking view. You must see it for yourself. The Italian market place has some beautiful cheeses and other unique items that just add to the experience. Their Pinot Grigio was our definite favorite of entire... More

Recently we visited the Viansa winery. The grounds and the ambiance were spectacular but then we went inside for a wine tasting where we met with Lorenzo. As we were starting with the tasting in walked a young attractive blonde woman and Lorenzo totally ignored us so he could flirt with this young woman, so if you are in your... More

Our first stop on our trip to Sonoma. The staff were really friendly, knowledgable and recommended other vineyards for us to visit. The wine was good too!

We stopped in with our German friend after spending the better part of a week in 'San Franfleesco' - so our first stop turned out to be a bit reminiscent of SF, beautiful but somewhat overpriced. The grounds and bronze statuary are lovely, the parking lot huge, the house and the tasting room are also very well done. The wines... More

We visit Viansa every time we travel to Sonoma/Napa - it is a "must stop" for us. We favor the reds and the tasting has always been a good experience. Like anywhere, some servers are more friendly and chatty while others are all business. The wine speaks for itself. The market is great for gifts or to purchase a light... More

Viansa winery is one of my favorites in the Sonoma valley! I love it so much that it is the only wine club I joined. While I tend to favor their whites, my friends happily accept their reds as gifts for various occasions. Recently, I gifted a bottle of Pinot Noir to a Friend who is affectionately called a wine... This winery was founded by Sam Sebastiani and his wife. The name is a combination of their names. It's now on its fourth or fifth owners; been in bankruptcy twice. That's gotta tell you something, right? Not as corporate as Rams Gate a short distance south; but less than friendly. On my recent visit, the two tasting associates spent more... More

We have been to many wineries and this rates on the bottom of our list. Our host was to say it nicely, abrasive. While she helped us we heard her be rude to several customers who decided to leave. In fact the host was actually telling them to go to another winery, Jacuzzi Wines as they winery had a wedding... More

Viansa makes some beautiful distinctive wines, all from Italian grapes.  We are used to hearing about Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes in Napa, but what Viansa grows have names like Arneis, Barbera, Nebbiolo, Sangiovese, and Vernaccia….different grapes that create different flavors. YUM! YUM! We enjoyed this tasting on the lovely hilltop veranda, overlooking the wetlands, munching on a turkey panini, fresh... More
