Mediterranean style building is situated on a hill overlooking the vineyards. We had a very informative tour here, even better than the one we experienced many years ago. The sparkling wines are excellent as are some of the still wines.

We just visited the winery on a gray Sunday right before a big storm on a fall day. We had a wonderful visit to taste some sparkling wine. I tasted a flight of the bubbly and my daughter-in-law tasted a flight of bubbly and red wine. They were all very good, but we had some favorites. I chose the Blanc... More

My boyfriend, Chris, and I stopped by on our last day in Sonoma (just one day after the major Napa earthquake, thank you very much!! :-) and I immediately fell in love with the setting. It is drop dead beautiful. After enjoying a flight of wines together, I found my very favorite (Brut Rose') which is so delicious I ordered... More

The grounds of Gloria Ferrer are absolutely stunning, you ride in on the road through the bulk of their orchards and come to the tasting room/caves perched on a hill overlooking the fields. The staff is so nice, very knowledgeable, you can tell they love the wine and love working there. If you are cruising around Sonoma/Northern California to taste... More

We didn't do any tours just sat on the patio, drank a bottle of bubbly and enjoyed the view. Good service and definitely worth a look.

The staff was very pleasant on both stops. The sparkling wine was refreshing. We bought 2 bottles of their Merlot. The tasting room provided plenty of sitting areas.

Plesant, knowledgeable staff, offering sufficient background story on the region and wines. Head and shoulders better than Viansa. Nice views from the terrace also.

Was part of a group that used the cellar for a corporate outing. Great hosts! We had a wonderful luncheon, tour, and, of course, sampled some fantastic champagne. I had a nice conversation with the upstairs tasting crew. The way they do tastings here is that they come to you. In other words, you either sit and an indoor or... More

Lovely grounds and quite wonderful champagne. It was beautiful to sit on the patio overlooking the vineyard and to enjoy the quiet. Our server, Jessie, was excellent. We will buy the champagne, but we were turned off by the high pressure sales technique at the end.

After visiting several wineries in the Napa Valley, we made the mistake of going to GF. While other wineries offered personal service and informative tours, GF offered a "drink". We felt like cattle, "herded in" and then "herded out". The only thing good about this visit was that we discovered another winery in the area - "Anaba".
