We were a bit disappointed with this winery. Upon arrival, the entrance to the tasting building was dirty. The trash barrels were over flowing. The wind had blown bottles all over the stairwell. We alerted the employees, but nothing was done. Inside, there was much confusion as well. Once we were seated, our server focused on her IPad, while taking... More

In past years, when a group of us has gathered for a long Sonoma weekend, GF was our first stop. We relaxed on the lovely patio, drank in the view, and enjoyed delicious wines by the bottle. Not this year. The server said "we don't serve bottles anymore" and when pressed for a reason, explained that we might overindulge. Instead,... More

Our server was quite helpful in suggesting what tastings to try. For those who appreciate champagne, this is the winery to go to. The rose was amazing, and the brut was worth trying again. Also, the wine club is a phenomenal deal and I would highly recommend it! The almonds and the olives are nice dishes to help with the... More

A beautiful view offering great flights with clear diversity in sparkling wines. The estate is really a great way to get your palate wet and whetted.

Good view, good service, good champagne. We did get a shifty glance from the greeter becuase we had 7 people and groups of 6 or more are supposed to make reservations. The place was empty so we were a little confused why they even said anything about it. Good time!

We have frequently enjoyed wine tasting at Gloria Ferrer. Our last visit on Sunday afternoon was expressly to see the newly remodeled tasting room and terrace. Both still boast lovely scenic views overlooking the vineyards, but sadly our tasting experience wasn’t the best. Now they won’t serve a bottle of bubbly, so we each ordered a flight of four wines.... More

We like Gloria Ferrer sparklings and enjoyed a tasting on the terrace overlooking the valley. However, we had hoped to do a tour - and had consulted the website - only to find out on arriving that they were reconstructing the visitors center and thus no tours until June or later. We wondered why they didn't put that info on... More

Beautiful new facility but lost all of its charm! Looks like some swanky Napa winery now but no personality. Slow service. Had to ask for complimentary almonds and olives. Ordered small cheese plate at $12 only 5 crackers??? No napkins? No more bottle service if you are a member. Only 1 complimentary glass per person and no outside food. I... More

This was our last port of call on our wine tasting trip which seemed appropriate as it was all about sparkling wine and champagne. We had our wine tasting in a large tent due to renovation, this didn't spoil the experience as we had superb views stretching across the Sonoma region. I only wish that I could have afforded to... Stop here for the Champagne! They are under renovation in their tasting room but the Champagne is still one of the best reasonably priced wines in NAPA. Tasting flight are priced well and you can see the fine quality of their champagnes.
