Overlooking this valley of vineyards, G.F. is a lovely late afternoon stop. We sat out on the patio with tables and umbrellas - perfect for the vista. We brought raspberries, blueberries, and blackberries from a farmers market in Napa to enjoy with the flights of the sparkling wines. We bought several bottles. Definitely a wonderful stop.

We went on a pre-booked group tour. We were thus expected, and the first wine was being poured before we'd even started. Our guide, an ex-pat Scot, was interesting, informative and very amusing. He took us round, forced us to try two more wines, and kept us entertained. To be honest there's not a huge amount to actually see (no... More

We ventured here specifically because of a Trip Advisor reviewer who mentioned this sparkling wine. It was quite nice. A lovely warm Saturday afternoon to kick off our tasting of Sonoma. Go here for the ambiance and view! It overlooks this beautiful valley of vineyards and the grounds are beautiful. They have a lovely patio with tables and umbrellas that... More

My husband and I visited Gloria Ferrer Champagne Caves during our recent trip to Sonoma/Napa. We paid $30 per person to take the tour that included a tasting. The tour was quite extensive, and we learned about the history of the winery and the wine making. We had the opportunity to see the production area where the wine is bottled,... More

Get there early, grab a table on the patio and relax. The sparkling wine they offer is amazing! We did a 3 pour sample, the Rose was our favorite, but all 3 were great. The view is what you would expect from wine country, acres and acres of vineyards. I wish we could have sat there all day and soaked... More

Visited Gloria Ferrer in early April on a crystal clear day. It was our first stop of the day at 10 am sharp. The best seating was reserved for club members, but we still had a commanding view from the patio. We thought about doing a tasting, but asked ourselves "who are we kidding?" We asked the staff for a... More

Great place to get a day of wine tasting kicked off! The patio offers some wonderful views of Sonoma Valley. Their menu offers bottles, glasses, and flights in a variety of price ranges (there is something for everyone). You can pack picnic/snacks to enjoy while you drink there OR they do sell picnic snacks/supplies. Definitely a great place to start... More

When I was told by my friends that our first stop in our wine tasting excursion was Gloria Ferrer where we would be tasting sparkling wine, my initial response was 'I don't like sparkling wine". Thank God they insisted on going and did not change their minds because not only were the grounds SPECTACULAR but the wines were DELICIOUS! Who... More

Nothing better to enjoy champagne with friends in an atmosphere that can not be beaten. The view and serenity is just great.

We wanted to do bubbles while in wine country so we did GF. Disappointed that we couldn't get into the caves, maybe they are saved for the paid tour? Sparkling wine is just ok, pre packaged wine and cheese available for purchase. Better winery options out there but nice view regardless
