Stop here for the Champagne! They are under renovation in their tasting room but the Champagne is still one of the best reasonably priced wines in NAPA. Tasting flight are priced well and you can see the fine quality of their champagnes.

This possibly would have been our favorite wine tasting but for the fact that their tasting room is being renovated and tastings are temporarily in a tent. There also happened to be about 40 mph winds the day we were there. The restroom trailer and the flapping tent were disconcerting. Having said all of that, the wine did not disappoint... More

I was excited to try some sparkling wines while on our trip, and this was the winery we picked. They are under renovation, so they have a tent set up for tastings. We got there late in the afternoon on a Sat and there was about a 20 min wait, but they did come around with sparkling wine for you... More

We stopped by since they opened early. The house is under construction so only the terrace was open. Very nice but hours open at 10 and nobody there realized that. Our server dropped all of our champagne on floor and it smashed. Then disappeared. Bubbles were go. Views were lovely. Would like to try once house is back open.

Compared to other tastings this was the most expensive which was understandable being a "champagne"/sparkling wine tasting. Reservations were preferred or you would have to wait, and outside seating was a longer wait than indoors. We were seated and provided different types of almonds which were nice then were able to choose from a few different options of flights. They... More

Gloria Ferrer was my favorite stop on our recent tour of wine country. Stop here to enjoy some sparkling wine on the beautiful and expansive terrace. Not only were the sparkling wines we tried excellent, but the service on the terrace was top-notch: our petite server dragged a huge patio umbrella across nearly the width of the patio so that... Great vineyards and location. Expensive tastings and you must spent $100 at least for them to wave the 25-30$ tasting. No food available. I like the place but thought it was too commercialized and business like. I was the only person there doing a tasting inside and the sales people were only interested in selling. Room for improvement in customer... More

If you do fly into the Bay Area, I also suggest as you are driving north to stop and welcome yourself to wine country with a break from your plane and car travel at Gloria Ferrer. They are right by the beginning of wine country and have a big outdoor terrace with many patio tables overlooking the Vineyards. Inside are... More

Mediterranean style building is situated on a hill overlooking the vineyards. We had a very informative tour here, even better than the one we experienced many years ago. The sparkling wines are excellent as are some of the still wines.

We just visited the winery on a gray Sunday right before a big storm on a fall day. We had a wonderful visit to taste some sparkling wine. I tasted a flight of the bubbly and my daughter-in-law tasted a flight of bubbly and red wine. They were all very good, but we had some favorites. I chose the Blanc... More
