Still a great venue with a wonderful patio overlooking the vinyards. It offers a selection of wines that one cannot get through your ordinary wine store. Their sparkling wines continue to be outstanding. Liked their cuvée royale and their blanc de noir de best.

Even though I arrived 25 minutes before they closed. They asked if I would come back the next day. Why would I come back exactly? There are lots of places to taste wine in the area.

The vineyard as you drive through it, is lined with Olive trees and the hills in the backdrop, and it isn't till you see it from atop when you acknowledge its massive size! We got greeted very warmly at the winery, where surprisingly is very small. Most of the tasting takes place on their "balcony like patio". So, they seat... More

Lovely scenic views overlooking the vineyards to sip the bubbly! Go at sunset. Highly recommend Gloria Ferrer!

The sparkling wines are consistently good. The pinots are ok. The upgrades facilities are wonderful with great views and shade. However, the elimination of bottle service reduces the attractiveness of this winery. It's always nice to be able to bring a picnic lunch, but this winery is becoming a little too upscale for that.

Went on a very, very busy holiday weekend and enjoyed the terrace and the flight of sparkling wine. We had a short wait for a table.. Signed up for a wine tour which lasted about an hour. Their tour was informative and fun. We will go back.

First, the location is beautiful. Second, even if you don't thing that you like sparkling wines -- go. You'll leave as a convert. Very interesting tour that combines wine and winemaking.

We went on Friday, July 3rd. They were not prepared for people to take a 3 day holiday weekend. We had no fewer than 3 people tell us how understaffed they were- and couldn't get the tour or the flight as a result. Outside terrace was slammed so we sat in side- and couldn't get served. Literally. What a disappointment... More

We were a bit disappointed with this winery. Upon arrival, the entrance to the tasting building was dirty. The trash barrels were over flowing. The wind had blown bottles all over the stairwell. We alerted the employees, but nothing was done. Inside, there was much confusion as well. Once we were seated, our server focused on her IPad, while taking... More

In past years, when a group of us has gathered for a long Sonoma weekend, GF was our first stop. We relaxed on the lovely patio, drank in the view, and enjoyed delicious wines by the bottle. Not this year. The server said "we don't serve bottles anymore" and when pressed for a reason, explained that we might overindulge. Instead,... More
