My daughter got me a Christmas gift at a charity auction, it was an Audi experience. We got a tutorial in the class room, then went on the track. We learned how to put a car into a corner and also serpentine driving. These sessions were in an Audi sedan. We were given lunch at an eatery quite close to... More

If you like to drive or have a sport car, you might want to try your hand at the track for a day. Rates are reasonable and you can choose how many laps you want. Highly recommended for car enthusiasts who want to improve their driving skill.

Sonoma Raceway is most easily accessed by way of highway 101 and a turnoff leading to the east. It had been my goal, since the age of 15, to see yet another drag race. And as it turned out, a few decades later I found myself and two traveling companions zooming up highway 101 in search of mechanized thunder. Since... More

We dropped by Sonoma Raceway on December 10, 2014, during a period when there was no racing. We were in the area on a vacation, and this was our only opportunity to stop in. It's very scenic, and we drove up the hill from the main entrance, where you could have a look at the entire track and surrounding scenery.... More

My boyfriend Chris had been here before, but I had not and wasn't really all that excited about going to a racetrack (Bora Bora, anyone?) during my one week vacation. However, I quickly changed my mind and attitude as soon as we arrived. The setting was stunning, the race was riveting, and the weather could not have been better...warm, but... More

NASCAR is one of the best races at this track. It gets pretty croweded but it is still lots of fun. Pretty empty for indy races so you are able to roam aorund and get to experince the different views of the track. The vendor area is pretty small compared to other oval tracks but still a great place to... More

We were driving from Vallejo toward Sausalito and saw a sign for the track. As it was a Wednesday we had no expectations but being an auto racing fan I thought there might be a chance to get a picture. Heard cars on the track so approached the gate attendant who admitted us after our signing a waiver. "Hooked on... More

The recent Indy races 8/22-24/14 were awesome! There's no poor seating at Sonoma, so it doesn't matter where you sit, the view is good. Weather can be tricky - overcast and cool in the am, scorching in the afternoon. Shade is a commodity, so wear a hat and dress for the heat. The pits for the GT/GS were awesome! Love... More

After getting an offer of free tickets and a pit/garage pass to a recent Formula One GoPro race at Infineon, it seemed too great of deal to pass on. Well, being a novice racing fan and enjoying the movie "RUSH" very much, I thought I would have a fantastic time. Overall, it was quite an adventure involving traffic jams, far... More

If you like motorsports, you won't be disappointed. The track has nice turn and will surely see actions and overtaking and facilities are really good (a lot of shops and food stands to choose from, a shuttle to the parking area, even some rides for the children) But what impressed me more was the organization: helpful staff and no (and...
