After getting an offer of free tickets and a pit/garage pass to a recent Formula One GoPro race at Infineon, it seemed too great of deal to pass on. Well, being a novice racing fan and enjoying the movie "RUSH" very much, I thought I would have a fantastic time. Overall, it was quite an adventure involving traffic jams, far... More

Most people come up for the big events, like Nascar. But it's expensive. Want some cheap, local fun? Wednesday night in the summertime is Sonoma Drift and drag racing. I'm not a car girl...never have been, but I am a Sonoma local looking for entertainment. This is good, cheap entertainment! We paid $10 each, free parking. Both events start at... More

Fast cars that were on the track test driving so no crowds or traffic. Lived in the Bay Area all my life and had never been there. Enjoyed it.

Wow, Infineon Raceway (aka Sears Point, aka Sonoma Raceway) is really nice; the nicest track I've been to. The main grandstand has actual seats, plastic yes, but theater seats. There is seemingly limitless seating on concrete stands around the course -- definitely bring padded seats. There are food services all over the area, and if the main "club" is indicative... More

I've been lucky enough to have attended 3 NASCAR races at Infineon Raceway, and each time, I've been amazed by the experience! Fair pricing, great viewing angles, and plenty of horsepower induced thrills to satisfy any motorsports fan. My one issue is that traffic to and from the track can be a bit harrowing, but if you get there early... More

I love this race track also, their Kart track as well. We used to race here from 2000-2003. Check out their Kart Racing School---Jim Russell Racing Drivers School.

Route 37 is 2 lanes squeezing down to 1 going in, so pack your patience and lots of extra time. Leave Early!! Each year, the race is starting, and people are still out on 37 in a long line of cars. Parking lots are ginormous, with plenty of shuttle busses -- cause it feels like you're in the next county... More

We went to hang out with our good friends at Schumacher racing. Very easy place to get into, great shuttle system. Nice and flat area for the pits. Being able to hang out with the best NHRA team of all time was a super bonus. We were one of the last to leave and got back to San Rafael in... More

This is an interesting course... not what I associate with Nascar. I'm not big NASCAR fan; but the three days in the sun was a good time. Parking is a NIGHTMARE.... with shuttles and long walks; but I guess its the best they could do. The views are beautiful and all around a great time.
