I've stayed at this Fairmont twice and both times booked spa services last minute. The first time (2010) left no impression with me. However, based on my experience on this stay I want to return to the hotel and invest a whole day just at this spa. My impression was founded in perhaps the best massage I've ever had ...from... This is one of my vorite places to relax and rejuvenate. The mineral pools are stunning and relaxing, the soft music and cucumber water (or champagne) so relaxing. The lunch menu is pretty simple but tasty. They offer a good neighborh discount for locals. This place is perfect for stay cations and day trips to restore the soul.

Stayed one night only and unfortunately did not get to enjoy the many spa services or amenities. However, we found the Mission Inn to be surprisingly tranquil considering it's location, and the staff did everything to please. Our room was nicely appointed, comfortable and quiet. We plan to return when we have more time to take advantage of the spa.

Be sure to plan extra time to "take the waters" before and after your spa services. The mineral pools are relaxing and very quiet. We lounged by the pool sipping Domaine Carneros and snacking on fresh fruits and salads prior to our massages. I highly recommend the massages. Post massage we floated out to spend the entire afternoon poolside. Fabulous... More

8 of us stayed in this hotel for a wine-tasting holiday and it was so lovely. It is indeed a resort, not a hotel. People walk around in big white robes and towels in their hair with glasses of wine....very laid back! Unique rooms are in different buildings, throughout the sprawling grounds. The main lodge had a great overheated pool... More

Tired of wine tasting? A day pass at this Spa will do the trick. Numerous pools, steams, and saunas let you go at your own pace.

This was my first trip to the wine country of Sonoma. I enjoyed the on grounds wine tasting, which was also a first.

I got a reasonable on-line rate so decided to try Sonoma Mission Inn and Spa. It is newly renovated and done beautifully. I would definitely return again for an overnight. Surrounding area is rather sketch. The town square of Sonoma is cute but Cornerstone shops looked better (which I missed). The El Dorado Hotel restaurant was very good. Service at... More

Yes I'm shouting because this place is all about kicking back. We picked it for our wine travels and it's my favorite place. We've been to all kind of star locations. It not every day that a place lives up to or exceeds my expectations. Quaint, relaxing, great amenities, wonderful food, exceptional wine list (they carry a vertical of Aruajo!).... More

The remodel was 99 % completed.. The pool was open and beautifully done.. The rooms was 2 queens in the older part of hotel.. But these rooms were large and close to parking.. The spa area was to die for... But the dinning Experience at Sante' was the best of our 7 day trip and we stayed at several properties... More
