This was our fourth trip to the Mission Inn. We stayed in a Mission suite that was recently renovated and beautiful. More

My husband and I splurged on an all-day spa-massage extravaganza after my stepmom passed away, and we'd spent a lot of time managing the resolution of her estate. The services were really delightful, and the bathing ritual was just the thing to renew our spirits. Can't recommend it enough! More

The hotel's undergoing renovations, so we're being open-minded. The "tired" part is us--the hotel sprawls and requires walking from one far end to the other. Breakfast, by the way, is at a restaurant that you have to walk to off property. It reminded me of a Cracker Barrel, but the food and service wasn't as good! More

It was a fabulous 5 night stay.. but what made it even more "delighting" was to see the Fairmont's new Managing Director take hold in his efforts to return elegant world class service to this resort. Even during our short stay we could see the difference in the staff's approach to guests. This was the new managers second week .... More

I decided to get my wife a birthday gift and have always read how this spa is top notch, so I decided to go ahead and surprise her!!!! She came back and told me it was one of the best birthday gifts ever!!! She was pampered by the nice friendly staff, she had a fantastic lunch there and she just... More

The Willow Stream Spa is one of the few spas that have a nice bathing ritual facility in wine country. If you don't stay at the hotel, you need to book at least $159 in spa treatments in order to use the facility or pay $89. The bathhouse is not worth $89 on its own and the spa treatments are... More

Myself and a friend chose to spend a few days in Sonoma for a girls' spa getaway. A great Travelzoo rate and the location a short distance outside the town of Sonoma sealed the deal for us at the Fairmont. Daily (gratis) wine tastings in the lobby brought a cozy atmosphere to the enormous main lobby which closely resembles a... More
