I have been here several times and just love it. Scott, Annika, Chris and Chris are amazing. I'm a red wine drinker but I truly love their Chardonnay. I love that the owner Deepak comes out and will just sit with us and chat. This is my go to winery when I have out of tone guests and want to... More

This was our last stop on a tour to 4 wineries with Platypus Wine Tours. It was also our favorite. My husband isn't usually fond of white wines but he wanted to buy 2 bottles of their Chardonnay. Every wine in our tasting was unique and delightful, we had to join their wine club. Truly a great experience here. Plus,... More

This was my favorite winery tour of the four we did because of the cave tour. So cool! I think he said that they were one of only a few that had caves (apparently they're pretty expensive). Even got to see a bat in there! The tour guide was also a sommelier and very knowledgeable of the wines. We met... More

This winery is in a beautiful, relaxed setting. We had a flight of four tasting for $10. I would say the staff was not very professional or accommodating, but good help is hard to find. It would have meant a lot to at least rinse out my glass when you switched from white to red wine, since apparently I couldn't... More

We went to Nicholson as recommended by the book "Back Lane Wineries". We have used this book as a guide to Sonoma and Napa wineries with great success. Nicholson was no exception and proved to be a great find. Every wine was off the charts superb. The people were friendly and offered a comfortably unrushed atmosphere to an exquisite wine... More

Nicholson Ranch has a lovely vantage point over some of the valley region, while the tasting room itself is full of light and opens onto a lawn area where you can sit and enjoy your tastings. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and are also open until 6pm so a great spot for a tasting later in the day.... More

We were taken here as part of a wine tour from San Francisco. We were greeted outdoors with a nice taster of chilled chardonnay. Stood looking over the vineyards and enjoying the morning sunshine this was perfect. We then moved into the tasting room where the owner explained the vineyard and gave red wine tastings. The Pinot Noir in particular... More

If you plan on taking a trip up to the wine country north of San Francisco make sure to include a stop at Nicholson Ranch. The scenery is spectacular, it's a smaller boutique winery and they have the most delicious Chardonnay ever. Stay a while and enjoy. We will be back again for sure.

We visited this winery as part of the Green Dream tour. Once we arrived, we were poured tastings by the owner Deepak who was very friendly and welcoming. We tasted 6 different wines (the regular price is $15). I enjoyed most of them. There is a tour available for $25 which includes a tour of their caves which I would... More

First stop on our wine tour. Our guide was very friendly and spoke highly of the winery. The grounds were lovely and there was a large area for outdoor seating We had one tasting in the tasting room then were taken underground to the cave room for the rest. Nice location, wines were decent. One we rated 8/10. The balancing... More
