Stopped by Lions Peak during an afternoon of wine tasting. The server was very friendly and engaging. The wines were excellent. We ended up joining the wine club

After spending the weekend in Los Olivos, CA and going to a number of wineries, we decided to visit Solvang. Wasn't sure our palettes were up to anymore wine tasting, but we wondered into Lions Peak. It was a pleasant surprise, the wines were lovely and the host was friendly and generous with her pours and cheese pairings. Needless to... More

Just an average winery. Wine was ok. Nothing really to write home about or even think about taking their wine home. The girl pouring was very knowledgeable about their wine and was very friendly. I would go back with friends if they wanted to try it.

Okay, I have to say that right up front that we had a very short, and a very unpleasant visit to this wine tasting shop. We were looking for someplace to taste wines and to enjoy a little time together. There was pleasant guitar music playing at the door, so we were enticed to go in. The seating at the... More

Hmmm....this place is listed/known/assumed as one of the premier wine spots in Solvang....however...losing potential customers is their reward for their snotty approach. Luckily I purchased some dragon figurine glasses...as would probably not revisit or become a member... You be the judge....

My husband and I stayed overnight in Solvang and visited 3 wine tasting rooms. The Lions Peak was the first one we walked to which was an easy walk from our Hotel Corque. I enjoyed their selection of wines..the "pourer" was knowledgeable but a bit pushy when it came to "asking" us to buy their wine…I do not like that..the... More

Today I walked into the tasting room and asked the lady (who was currently doing a tasting with 2 customers) how long they were open until, and she told me about another 10-15 minutes. I walked outside and let my boyfriend know and as we turned to go back into the business, the door shut in front of us and... More
