I was super excited and all geared up to come here after I saw such high ratings. Well, we drove there and it was totally weird and boring. It's like you're just at someone's house looking at their yard! The horses are cute, but they are super far away. Maybe it's because we're from LA, or we're capitalists, but there... More

We stopped by this ranch on our way to Rideau Winery (which is actually right accross the road), just to give our 9yo kid something to do (in exchange for his patience in the winery). It was really cool to watch the miniature horses; they are friendly and walked up to the fence so my son could touch them and... More

The ranch is located only 5 minutes from town. We were able to roam around and see the beautiful miniature horses. Two came up to us and allowed us to pet them. They were so adorable. Kids would love this, adults too! It is free, but you can give donations. We really enjoyed it. Nice diversion from shopping.

The miniature horse ranch was different. There were 20 or so little horses to see and some will come over to the fence so you can pet them. This is a pretty ranch, very close to the local towns. We did this ranch and the lavender farm in the same morning. Each took about 15 minutes. Then it was on... More

This is fun, beautiful little ranch and the horses are adorable! It's great that it's free to see the horses. However, it'd be nice if the staff would interact more with visitors. Everyone was nice but simply said hello without offering any information. This place would be a lot better if they had some staff members who would tell guests... More

This is a breeding ranch for miniature horses. May is prime time for babies, so imaging miniature horse babies! So cute and so small! Great for everyone, lots of folks brought their babies. Don't miss it.

My husband and I stopped by to see the "minis" during our trip to Solvang. The horses are beautiful, very well cared for and are so fun to watch. The grounds are beautiful and so well kept. All and all, a very pleasant experience. The people that work there are friendly and knowledgable. A must see in Solvang!

Everyone will love this place. It is so peaceful and beautiful. The miniature horses were so wonderful and friendly. You can get really close to them but do not feed them. You could take all of the pictures and the staff there were happy to answer questions. When we were there we got to see a 2 day old foal... More

This place is worth a peek. These little creatures are friendly, cute, and loved to be petted. The staff was friendly in answering questions and we enjoyed looking at all of the varieties. It was a nice little stop for a few minutes. Bring some wet wipes or hand sanitizer if you plan on petting the miniatures.
