We did not pay for the tour but did walk around the grounds and they were absolutely beautiful. Every town in Western California along the El Camino Real is very proud of their mission, as they should be but we just don;t feel we want to see the inside of them all. The homemade doors to the interior of the... More

The Mission dates back to the late 1700's and early 1800's. For a $5 donation, you can view a few rooms of artifacts, as well as see inside the church. Lots of history in this place. Doesn't take very long to self-tour, but it is quite interesting.

...but there's really nothing to see. It's true, the church is beautiful from the balcony and on the bottom. The paintings were exquisite. It's not that interesting because, fun fact, it was made in 1804, instead of older and more evented missions.(ex. La Purisima Concepcion)

This Mission is on the small side. There is a $5 fee to go through and see the history. Very informative and the fee helps take care of the mission-so-worth it. Good history of the area also. They have s large parking area which overlooks a valley. See the mission-go get lunch-come back to the shade and view.

This is a working church but in the system of the California missions this is one of the newest. The attached museum, which I believe is the justification/excuse for charging the admission fee could use some help: the rooms are small and feel overflowing. At least one of the stations of the self-guided tour did not work during our visit.... More

The view from this mission is incredible and worth the drive just to see that, but the mission itself is small and just OK as a tourist destination.

Working church with good artifacts. Quiet with very well kept grounds. Worth the stop. I've been to many of the other California Missions and found this one to be in good shape. worth the stop

This Mission has a self guided tour w/ an entrance fee of $5. It's great to see how this place used to look like and some edification of the local history.
