We stayed at the Ice Lakes Lodge for one night. There were only two good things about the experience: the location (directly across the street from a trail head) and the warm floors. The lodge offered nothing special in terms of lodge staying. It just seemed like a hotel anywhere, except for the fireplace downstairs. The employees were nice but... more

Stayed two nights, 1/22-1/23/05. The lodge is rustic, quaint, cozy, historical. Room 23, had view of river, smallish room with bathroom-built in toilet, shower, sink in middle. There are less expensive rooms without bathroom and the bathrooms looked nice. Would rccd asking for room back of lodge (less road noise). The breakfast consists for 6 items off the regular menu,... more
