The casino is extremely tight-fisted in its slot machine pay-outs, in fact, the worst I have experienced along the Pacific Coast. The machines are old and tired, for the most part.

The staff is so friendly. The rooms are so clean and the amenities are great. The rates are very accomodating (sorry about the pun) and the casino is fun! I recommend to all!

Our company, Bicoastal Media, held our Holiday Party recently at Lucky 7 and Howonquet Lodge. We enjoyed the great food and service provided by their staff. The prime rib dinner was the best I have ever tasted and many others agreed, too. The facility, the Tolowa Event center is excellent for our party of 55 , but can expand to seat 400... More

On a road trip up the California coast I stayed at this casino hotel. I was very happy. The hotel is newer and well kept. Extremely comfortable bed with high quality linens. The price for my nights stay was reasonable. Check in was fast and the clerk was great. The casino is small but nice and feels safe. I had... More

The title says it all. Newer lodge that is beautiful but same old casino and skip the restaurant! Upper floors have a great view of the Pacific and the mouth of the Smith River.

We booked a block of ocean view rooms for New Year's Eve, and booked early to get the ones we wanted. When checking in, we were told that one of our rooms was on the first floor and and the rest were on the third. We asked of there were any available rooms on the third floor and we were... More

As with all California casinos, this place did an excellent job of emptying my wallet. Maybe it’s my imagination, but it seems like the machines at these Indian casinos are programmed to get revenge on the white man. ;-) Just kidding. But seriously, I’ve never had much luck at a Native American casino. However, it’s a long way to Vegas,... More

Thursdays they have Senior lunch from 11:30 to 2. Wife and I hadn't done this in awhile but we were in area so thought we'd give it a try. Ordered the lasagne because that's what we used to get because it was good and they gave you a decent amount. They only have a few items on the menu for... More
