Description: Nestled amid the vines at Coopersmith vineyard, tastings educate visitors...
Nestled amid the vines at Coopersmith vineyard, tastings educate visitors about Merry's handcrafted Pinot Noir and Sauvignon Blanc. Experience wines produced with a genuine sense of place using site-specific viticulture and gentle, traditional winemaking practices. Merry and her husband, Ken, invite you to join them at their estate winery. Please call to schedule a private tasting, however if you don't have time for an appointment we welcome you to come in from 9:30AM - 4:30PM for a more casual tasting. Parties of 8 or more, limos and buses are accepted by prior arrangement only. (Please note, our winery is patrolled by cats. No canines, please -- assistance dogs are exempt. Thank you for your understanding.)

We arrived at Merry Edwards close to closing after a day of cycling. We were a bit scruffy but were welcomed in without prejudice. The Sommelier took his time and took us through 5 different tastings (Chardonnay, 3 Pinot Noirs, and a Sav Blanc). He was excellent in explaining why the wines were different and explaining the history of the winery.... My favorite wine is Pinot, and Merry is the master of Pinot! Of course her namesake, Meredith, is the ultimate, followed by Coopersmith, but all of her wines are wonderful. And, if you like Sauvignon Blanc, she makes a good one; my husband says it's great, but I don't care for that varietal, so for me to say it's good... More

We scheduled a tasting at Merry Edwards with three other couples. This was the first of four tastings that day, and one of many our group has had over the past few decades. We were well received and after a brief explanation of their various terroirs and production methods, we were gently shepherded into a private tasting room. We tasted... More

Merry Edwards is the queen of Pinot as far as I'm concerned. The guided tasting is conducted in a private room with a small group of 6-8 people and the staff members are excellent. They know wine and the vineyards especially Merrys. We tasted a chardonnay and 3 vineyard designated pinot noirs . Brown, our guide, was very knowledgeable and... More

We live 5 minutes away. Whenever friends visit (which is often), this is the first stop on our tour. Hands down, consistently one of the best Pinots in the world by a top rated wine maker. People may not realize they have a marvelous Savignon blanc and Chardonnay as well. The staff is always friendly and knowledgable. They do a... More

The wine tasting room was pretty nice and the wine Rep. Brown was a lot of fun. All the wine we tasted from here was good, had a lot of fun, bought plenty of wine. Would return to this place if I return to this area.

This was the first vineyard we visited on our recent trip to the area and it was the best. The tasting was great, with the employee who handled being very helpful and enthusiastic. We purchased some wine, and they were very helpful in giving us information on shipping or packing. Looking forward to returning.

On this Black Friday, we were thrilled to be at the Merry Edwards vineyard. Whether a novice or a sommelier, you will find many things to learn by visiting this top shelf home to pinot noirs & savignon blanc wines. We called ahead and arranged a private room tasting session with one of the knowledgeable tasting guides, and Ron was... More

Was driving by and was inspired to drive in. Merry Edwards is the queen of pinot noir, but I think her sauvignon blanc is one of the best. The visit was the day before Thanksgiving, the visitors were light but looked like the staff was working hard. The tasting room is very nice and looked like it could accommodate larger... More
