Nestled amid the vines at Coopersmith vineyard, tastings educate visitors about Merry's handcrafted Pinot Noir and Sauvignon Blanc. Experience wines produced with a genuine sense of place using site-specific viticulture and gentle, traditional winemaking practices. Merry and her husband, Ken, invite you to join them at their estate winery. Please call to schedule a private tasting, however if you don't have time for an appointment we welcome you to come in from 9:30AM - 4:30PM for a more casual tasting. Parties of 8 or more, limos and buses are accepted by prior arrangement only. (Please note, our winery is patrolled by cats. No canines, please -- assistance dogs are exempt. Thank you for your understanding.)

Not only are the wines at Merry Edwards beautifully made, but you will get a wonderful education on winemaking when you visit the winery. The staff are friendly and very approachable whether you just walk-in or arrange a private tasting (both are free of charge).

Merry Edwards is the Queen of Pinot Noir. None finer, anywhere. We strongly prefer New Zealand Sauvignon Blancs, but Merry Edwards changed our preference. Great wine, great staff, fantastic experience?

A complimentary wine tasting is almost unheard of these days. A complimentary "private" tasting of top quality wines is most certainly a rarity. But that is what you will find at Merry Edwards along with an exceptional staff. The wine is not cheap, or even affordable for most, but the quality is undeniable and the experience is certainly memorable. Highly... More

Great wines, poor tasting experience. We visited in July and were shocked at how the eperience does not match the wine. if you know Merry Edwards, then you know the wines are off the charts good. The sitdown tasting was a dissapointment. The noise from a large tasting room next to us was unpleasant. And while they have a cute... More

Dear DFW_Foodie, We're glad to hear that you loved our small production Pinot Noirs and Sauvignon Blanc however I'm disappointed to learn that you didn’t enjoy your experience. We offer private seated tastings by appointment in two rooms that are separated from the tasting room by sliding glass partitions which unfortunately aren’t completely sound proof and on busy days, other... We had a private wine tasting on Sunday. The private room was very nice and set up nicely. We tasted a Chard.,which was good. We tasted a Sauvignon Blanc which was excellent. This is not a wine I usually enjoy but several bottles came home with me. Their Pinot Noir, all four we tasted, were excellent. And 8 bottles came... More

Three of us drove there while staying in the Healdsburg area. Agter trying Sterling and gorgeous Coppola wineries this place looked quaint and simpler. But we were in for a treat!! First of all, tasting of 7 servings in a private room by a very knowledgeable sommelier was not only free but the coveted Merry Edwards pinots are impeccably refined... More

We met Merry's husband afterwards while we were checking out and he was super friendly. The tasting experiences are varied and we did the simple one You can spend more time if... More

When you live in West County Sonoma Wine Country, and you have friends visit, it's great to have some core wineries you know are good. Merry Edwards is one of them. Great wines, free tasting, excellent service and easy location off of 116. The private tasting rooms are cool. And yet it misses on the wine tasting bar and community... More

Went to Mary Edwards on a recommendations from a co-worker with my wife and daughter. When we first walked in we thought maybe we had gone to the wrong place as it seems very "professional" but someone immediately greeted us and ushered us into a tasting room, where we were give a private wine tasting - no reservation. Wow, the... More
