Nestled amid the vines at Coopersmith vineyard, tastings educate visitors about Merry's handcrafted Pinot Noir and Sauvignon Blanc. Experience wines produced with a genuine sense of place using site-specific viticulture and gentle, traditional winemaking practices. Merry and her husband, Ken, invite you to join them at their estate winery. Please call to schedule a private tasting, however if you don't have time for an appointment we welcome you to come in from 9:30AM - 4:30PM for a more casual tasting. Parties of 8 or more, limos and buses are accepted by prior arrangement only. (Please note, our winery is patrolled by cats. No canines, please -- assistance dogs are exempt. Thank you for your understanding.)

On this Black Friday, we were thrilled to be at the Merry Edwards vineyard. Whether a novice or a sommelier, you will find many things to learn by visiting this top shelf home to pinot noirs & savignon blanc wines. We called ahead and arranged a private room tasting session with one of the knowledgeable tasting guides, and Ron was... More

Was driving by and was inspired to drive in. Merry Edwards is the queen of pinot noir, but I think her sauvignon blanc is one of the best. The visit was the day before Thanksgiving, the visitors were light but looked like the staff was working hard. The tasting room is very nice and looked like it could accommodate larger... More

Surprisingly, the wine tastings here are free. On the day we were here, they offered 4 different wines. The employee was very pleasant and knowledgeable. He showed us on the map where each wine came from. We did not feel pressured to buy but we did buy 2 bottles anyway. I would definitely come back here.

Merry Edwards is a refreshing change to the typical wine tasting experience. If you're looking for knowledgable staff that can answer your questions this is the place. Unlike most tasting rooms in Sonoma County they still offer complementary tastings and there is no hard sell. The wine sells it self so it's not necessary. The Queen of Pinot does not... More

Pinots are Merry's speciality, offering five or six different labels each year. However, my favorite Merry Edwards wine is her Sauvignon Blanc which has been rated in Wine Spectator's Top 100 Wines of the World. It is a truly remarkable wine.

This beautiful Winery is full of unique vineyards with an extraordinary history and dedication by the owner and the staff. You will miss out on a great wine tasting event, if you do not visit and meet this talented group of individuals. I promise, you will leave with at least one bottle, I did!!!

My wife and I visited on a Thursday afternoon. They were not busy but we were rushed thru the tasting by the woman walking us thru. After quickly going thru the wines she quickly walked away to talk to the receptionist. I guess she didn't size us up as buyers. Wrong. The price did not scare us and We spent... More

Hi Norman, I'm sorry to hear about your tasting room experience and we offer complimentary in-depth private tastings by appointment however it sounds like you took part in one of our complimentary drop-in tastings that are more casual and don't require a reservation. Our complimentary drop-in tastings typically start every 15 minutes and feature 4 wines. The next time you’re... More
