I most enjoyed the history of wood house boats, strolling different neighborhoods, owl house, train wreck, Spaulding boat works. Definitely recommend Victoria's tour - bring your walking shoes! More

"I would definitely recommend the tour. Extremely informative and interesting. It's amazing how many hidden gems of history there are, and how the history of the area can be told through them. Wonderful!" -Haley Chutz - Program Director - Call of the Sea More

Very different type of tour. 3 hours ambling around the waterfront in Sausalito. Victoria's narrative is informative and entertaining. We took our 8 year old son, and he was lagging towards the end, but perked up when offered strawberries, biscuits and a glass of milk! More

Victoria gave us a wonderful description of the origins of the floating homes and house boats. Victoria is well-informed and provides a colourful narrative during the tour. I would highly recommend this tour. More

Victoria provided a delightful experience touring and learning about the history of the Sausalito house boats. She is passionate about her community, and about wooden boats, and it showed. She told a number of interesting stories about the boats and the characters associated with them. Thanks Victoria! More

Well planned tour by a patient and gregarious host. Victoria had loads of fun stories and information on the famous and infamous residents of the Sausalito waterfront community. Also had an opportunity to view wonderful art and fabulous ceramics. Great visit to a shipbuilding and repair facility. Took lots of pictures to add to my collection...there was something amazing around... More

Fascinating! Learned so much about both Sausalito history and the artists and boat builders working here now. Great Fun! Part of the tour was of the house boat the S.S. Maggie - magnificent inside and out. More

"If you are at all interested or connected to the nautical scene, I highly recommend this tour. Seeing the houseboats and arks are one thing, but getting the history behind them is priceless as well as the ship building history of Sausalito. One also gets appreciation of the skilled labor in wooden boat building." More
