They call Sausalito the french riviera of USA, but I think they have never been in France... The place is nice to walk around and there are millionaires living there how ever this will never look like Montecarlo or the riviera. You can live without visiting it.

We went to this little town after our Golden Gate Bridge tour. It was a nice little with many little shops and restaurants. I just wished that we had more time at this place. Also, be sure to carry some quarters with you for the parking (they only take quarters). We had to go to the store to exchange some... More

We drove to Sausalito from Half Moon Bay . The coastal drive us stunning . The drive through San Fransisco was challenging and busy but it was nice to drive over the Golden Gate Bridge. The town of Sausalito reminds me of the Amalfi coast in Italy very scenic. I have never seen so many people on bicycles and they... More

We took a bus tour to Muir Woods and got off to explore Sausalito with intent of taking ferry back to Pier 39. Signage is very confusing at the boat dock and no personnel to provide guidance at the location. We found the visitors booth nearby and met a lovely woman who was so helpful, guided us through what to... More

When visiting San Francisco you must go see thsiquaint little town across the Golden Gate Bridge. Good food and drink as well as nice shopping in a leisurely atmosphere.

I'm using this space to talk about this beatiful city. Excellent for a ride during day, see what you have around, go lunch on its good restaurants and have a gelatto (of coffee if is cold). It worths finish your bike ride there, and if its possible, return to SF at night, when you can see all the lights of... More

This is hard for me to say here as this is my home town that I love, however there is not much to see in this small buliding. You can spend your time simply walking around town and if you really would like to see some history take a short walk to the city hall building. It seats on the... More

The visitor center should be your first stop for the visit of Sausalito. This picturesque small town, not far from San Francisco: you just need to cross the Golden Gate bridge, is a very nice tourist destination, also famous to "host" a wealthy and artistic enclave,

My review is about Sausalito rather than the visitor's centre. It's a great little village with lovely views and cute shops. There is a great salt water taffy shop there and a choice of restaurants. The boats in the harbour are well worth a look. A good way to spend an afternoob
