I was here for an event, but I had time to visit the winery. As an event location, it's nice, but far from perfect. No usable WiFi for one thing. On the other hand, the view is spectacular, so wander out to the deck, and take in the view. But don't bother with the wine. A friend who joined me... More

Beautiful location. Wish we had more time during our stay for a concert. Such a peaceful place. Good wine. And "Jesse The Mayor" of the winery was AWESOME! He was very friendly, gave us history of the winery, concerts, location, etc. I am soooo ready to go back!!

We have been here for both wine tasting and also concerts. The venue is fantastic, views stunning and facilities great. Would highly recommend a concert here, only circa 2,500 people so not a bad seat in the house, very civilized with wine bars and restaurants available too. Wine- tasting very informal, you can wander the grounds at your leisure. A... More

The Mountain Winery is a wonderful concert venue. It is in the open air and seating is great from most anywhere that you sit. There is a lovely veranda that serves meals and also other seating areas around the concert area. After we park at the Winery and before you go in, you can bring a blanket and sit and... More

Bowl style outdoor amphitheater with good viewing of stage and listening from even the least expensive seats. Beautiful setting, but can be chilly. Lucky to have been many times.

We went for concert, so I cannot comment on wine tasting. This venue is so cool. It does give up a couple things, but the atmosphere makes up. The parking is really not horrible as some may say. we got there early and had some dinner on the wine deck and watch the sunset over the valley. People mention the... More

Saw Toad the Wet Sprocket and Grant Lee Buffalo in August 2013. Was really really impressed with this place. Stage and seating I entirely outdoors. Awesome to look up to the stars, and down on the lit valley below. The seating bowl is set up very well with regard to acoustics and comfort. It has a very cozy feeling. Any... More

My wife and I have been to this fabulous venue several times. We enjoy concerts and this is the best venue ever. It is a 100 plus year old winery that was re-modeled with a beautiful concert facility at the top of a mountain. There are spectacular views - you can see many miles of the San Jose area. They... I have been there many times over the years. The concerts feature wonderful acts of all kinds. I have seen comedy such as Paula Poundstone and Martin Mull. It was up close and personal. Talking Heads, David Burn classical music, Aretha Franklin. All were close. No big screen. All in all a wonderful venue for acts of all kinds assuming... More
