beautiful place. tons of gnats or flies around constantly swarming around your head. staff (one lady challenged me about giving me change back. bill was about $20.66 and I gave her $21. she argued that I was not owed any change back. I did not feel like arguing with her over $.34 and considered this was her "tip" for being... More

This is our first year going to The Mountain Winery for concerts, and it definitely won't be our last! We always arrive early, for easy parking and no traffic. They start letting people in at 5:30, and we go to the deck and grab a table with a view of the valley. We can have wine and order food from... More

Great place to see a concert - only wish it was closer to home. However, they release all their tickets on the same day, and their new ticket vendor forces you to sign out then go back to the pre-sale email to purchase another concert. If you are a couple and both of you are at your computers the instant... More

Had the pleasure to see Chris Issak at the winery outdoor amphitheater. What a beautiful spot for a concert. The drive up is a bit hairy. The road snakes around for a couple miles but worth the trip. Prior to the concert we had dinner at their Chateau Terrace overlooking the valley. Service and food was outstanding. We had a... More

I attended the Gladys Knight and Ojays concert for my birthday celebration on August 7th. The venue is in the Saratoga hills, and is a bit of a drive up to the winery, so be prepared for winding and narrow roads. It's not the most pleasant trip up the hill, but once you arrive at The Mountain Winery's beautiful venue,... More

Perfect for a summer evening concert. Comfy seats, great sightlines, very good acoustics. Plenty of food and drink stations, so never much of a wait. Beautiful, beautiful location -- the venue itself and being in the mountains. Arrive early to enjoy views from the mountain top parking/picnic area.

Be prepared to do a lot of walking up to the seating area. Very good food and beverage (including excellent maragritas!!) options. Good sight lines and audio equipment. Only negative is the aggressiveness of the seat attendants in jumping on people taking videos with their phones. Most venues have moved passed the video with phones. Time for the Mountain Winery... Great view, setting, and ambiance. I think any seat in the house is good. The bowl provides for really good sound. You can hear the artist without getting blasted out. Things are a bit expensive (drinks, food, etc.) but what concert or entertainment venue doesn't charge too much.

Sheryl Crow was an excellent concert. I thought that visiting the winery would be a better experience. You can only walk around the upper walkway. There are too many private party's so there are too many restricted areas that you can not go into. The wine was $17 a glass. You cannot take ANY pictures at all even of the... More

Great venue to see Brit Floyd. Kind of pricey, but expected. All amenities were available and they had a wide range of food and drink options. The event staff were helpful and friendly!
