My wife and I have been going here for 6-8 years. They have mostly C-list and D-list old timer bands that some of us missed in the 60s and 70s. But its fantastic to see Taj Mahal, Gypsy Kings, Diana Krall, ZZ Top, and others here. While the bench seats are uncomfortable (bring pads), there are few bad seats (far... More

We went there first time for Toni Braxton's concert. It was gorgeous day, a little warmer in middle summer but perfect one no need to bring out jacket. The vineyard is so wonderful and peaceful. Beautiful sunsetting was accompanying us during the concert. The concert was great and unforgettable. Love Braxton's voice and her vivid interaction with audiences during performance.... More

Mountain Winery is a nice place to go for a summer concert. It has beautiful views, good concert stage, and pre show dinner options.

(Rated Average as there is no way to only rate the Chateau Deck) One STAR for the food Five STARs for the view The following is about my most recent Chateau Deck experience. GOOD The view if you arrive early enough to get a table along the edge. BAD The food ... all of it. * The Heirloom Tomato Salad... More

We came here for a Joan Baez/Indigo Girls concert and found the theater a very pleasant experience. Because the concert was a sell-out we decided to arrive about an hour early and that may be good advice anytime. The road up from the main street is very curvy and narrow, one lane of traffic much of the way. With a... More

Four stars for the scenery and fantastic Il Volo concert! Only two stars for the food and drink...$15 for a very small cocktail that was not even good...$5 for a coke...expensive, but nasty tasting shrimp salad that we couldn't give away. Visit the place, but go after eating and drinking. The mandatory fees are for parking (15) and for the... More

A perfect evening. This past Friday, my husband and I ate dinner on the Chateau Deck and attended the Il Volo concert at The Mountain Winery. The evening was absolutely perfect...at all levels. The parking was easy, the food was delicious, the service was impeccable, the view was breath-taking and the intimate seating of the concert venue made for a... More

We attended the Gary Allen concert and this was our first visit to the Winery. Unfortunately we were not able to do some wine tasting on this trip but we will be back for a visit next time to do some tasting! As for the concert venue, we loved it! We had great seats, not that there is really a... More

A stunning location for concerts and shows. Great atmosphere and surroundings. Food choice is average, and don't plan on getting away quickly, just a single track down and took me well over an hour to get out of the parking lot.

An excellent winery just minutes away from San Jose in the Santa Cruz Mountains. This winery has it all, beautiful scenery, excellent wines, fun patio, and concerts. Lots of parking available also and paved walking paths. Our group enjoyed sitting on the patio and having glasses do sparkling wine and a very tasty Riesling. Our server, The Mayor, was funny...
