We spent an afternoon touring the wine country above Santa Barbara and this winery was recommended for a visit. Their wines are excellent, but the best part of our visit was the tour we received from the young man working the tasting room that afternoon. He went out of his way to show us around and explain their process of... More

We stopped off at Brander on our way from Santa Barbara to San Luis Obispo. The vineyard is lovely, the tasting room was light and airy, the staff were friendly, and the wines were nice. We went for the classic flight which cost $10 for 5 tastings. I believe a logo glass is also included in the price but we... More

We had a decent experience at this vineyard... The wine was good, the employees were nice, the area was pretty, but nothing was amazing. The employees didn't seem very interested in sharing a lot of information even though they were pleasant. Definitely a decent vineyard to go to but I can't give it more stars since there are so many... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Brander! The wines were wonderful and equally wonderful was the outdoor courtyard area. We brought a picnic and enjoyed a tasting while the kids explored the garden area. There were some lovely Sauvignon Blancs and a fabulous Cabernet Reserve. It looks like they've been making some upgrades to the property and we enjoyed each... More

I think Brander was my first wine club membership ever. I love the whites. And over the years, their reds have grown on me. But anthing Sauvignon Blanc is a winner. The new F/Red is very good too. It is a pretty property and a lovely setting on a sunny afternoon. The staff are always polite and knowledgeable. Members taste... More

I really enjoyed both the white and red wines offered through their tasting. The property is beautiful and well maintained and the staff was friendly. I would highly suggest the F/Red and the Bouchet for people who love reds. The Sauvignon Blanc is a great white. I would suggest this vineyward to those who want to relax in the sun... More

Worst winery ever. I've never felt so embarrassed in my life. I was with a group of 6 people on a wine tour and we were told we could t not finish our tastings because we were too " tipsy". We were singing happy bday to our bday girl when the employee named Meghan asked us to leave. Our wine... More

This area is well known for it's pinot noir wines but the whites don't always get their share of fame. At Brander they do some great white wines to include my fave: Savignon Blanc. Pretty setting for pictures with a large fountain out front and some great picnic tables to enjoy lunch and a tasting at (bring your own lunch).

My friends and I stopped in at Brander Vineyard today while we were visiting the Santa Ynez Valley. The staff in the tasting room were really friendly and helpful and they guided us through our wine tasting. Brander specializes in Sauvignon Blanc and we got to try a few. They also had some really nice Cabernet Sauvignon and the Syrah... More
