I was a guest of a wine club member to a special event that the winery holds every other month. The grounds are lovely, well-kept up and include rose gardens, relaxing sitting area inside and out with couches and ottomans. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is upbeat. During this event there was a classic rock band, 3 food truck.... More

The smell of lavendar was the best part of the visit. The wine and service was mediocre and not worth the price

There are lots of places to taste wine in the Santa Ynex Valley but you'd be hard-pressed to find a better view. Bridlewood is modeled after an old mission, complete with bell tower, and the views from the top patio are superb. The views out back, overlooking an old racetrack, pond with ducks, and bridge are also wonderful. We'd recommend... More

very underwhelmed at Bridlewood. Felt like a tasting factory. Didn't feel like we were welcome guests. Wasnt too busy. Server was uninterested and seemed like we bothered her.

Ive been a member for 3yrs now, and I'm about to stop!!! If it wasn't for Kim and Kirk, I would not be here anymore!!! I met Tori, the director for bridlewood once and let me say, not very nice at all. I brought in my family last month and was soooo shocked by the embarrasing new uniforms that these... More

Let me start by saying that I did not participate in the wine tasting, so I can not give any information on that aspect. While my friends enjoyed the wine tasting, I explored the property. It was a wonderful and peaceful setting with a horse track and paddocks. There is a lovely pond and trees in the infield of the... More

We made a stop here during our wine tour of Santa Ynez Valley because a friend recommended it for the atmosphere and Syrah. We actually had planned to picnic here, but upon arrival, one of the wine sommeliers told us he couldn't serve us because he was overwhelmed despite there being room at his tasting table for our party of... Definitely a stop for traditional scenic style property. Staff was cordial, but not overly friendly or engaging. $10 per person for tasting is annoying for this old school taster - prefer Paso Robles, Sonoma, and Sierra Foothills as wines are comparable or better and they do not feel as commercialized. Greatest negative - tasting not waived with a purchase (only... More

Sitting outside the winery overlooking the vineyards and the horse track and paddocks is simply enchanting. This is truly one of the most scenic SoCal wineries. The wine is quite good as well. Not to be missed if you are in this area.

After coming here repeatedly, my girlfriend convinced me that we (or should I say, I) should join their wine club. The knowledgeable tasting staff guides you through their wines, which range from good to HOLY [--] HOW IS THIS SO INEXPENSIVE. I especially love their beautiful Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon, which is nothing like most heavy cabs and is my... More
