Originally a boys working ranch, Cloverleaf has become a "home away from home" for thousands of children and adults from all over the world. Born in 1947, our ranch was built (board by board) by my Grandfather, Larry Armstrong and created by my Grandmother, Grace Armstrong. Today, in addition to our award-winning horse boarding and riding programs, we are home to Sonoma County's only Western Summer Camp Program. Our ranch brings the fun and excitement of the frontier west to campers, with activities such as horseback riding, campouts, hiking, swimming, ropes course, arts and crafts, and many more activates. 160 acres of oak tree dotted hills and grazing land, Cloverleaf Ranch is the perfect setting for a Western adventure! The location is just off Highway 101 at the northern edge of Santa Rosa, only an hour's drive from San Francisco. « less

Our kids went to camp for the first time this year. At ages 7 and 9, we wanted a camp that had a well rounded set of activities.... we found the perfect place at Cloverleaf. From swimming, horseback riding, archery, zip lines, sports and just plain fun the kids had a blast. All the counselors were great and kids can't... More

I have volunteered as a camp nurse here for the past four years. I see quiet shy children open up to the activities and warmth of the staff. I experience the "home sick" one's in my nurse role. They are encouraged to join in and make new friends. They only need one homesick visit and I do not see them... More

When I went to this camp, i had the worst time ever. Though I told my parents this they sent me year after year. The conditions were terrible, they had to many kids for the swimming pool, there was only one bathroom for 80 kids, and the activities were forced and NEVER fun. Lastly, the councilors, who were suppose to... More

We recently had our 10 year old daughter's birthday here for her and three friends. It was a bit of a dreary, cold, windy, wet day and yet, all four girls had a blast! The staff was very sweet and accommodating. First the girls brushed the horses, saddled and bridled them before heading down to the arena for some riding... More

From registration to last pickup from camp experience was amazing! Owner and staff accommodating and friendly. Focus is on the children and THEIR experience NOT the parents! Varied and appropriate activities for all age levels. A real summer camp experience and NOT a summer daycare!
