Over the years Karen & I have stopped in to taste the Saint Francis wines and take some away with us. This was one of the first wineries we ever tasted at in the Sonoma Valley. They make us feel at home. The wines are well made. The staff knowledgeable in their explanations well not being overbearing.

We wanted to enjoy this tasting the last time we were in wine country but they were all booked up so we made sure to make our reservation in advance this time. I'm so glad we did because this food & wine pairing was so good! We started with a scallop over basil risotto and I ate it before I... More

Treated my husband and two adult kids to the wine and food pairing. Everything was really wonderful. The food and wine pairings were terrific and well thought out. The staff gave just the right amount of detail. I especially loved the cucumber soup. It didn't appeal to me when reading the description but it was my favorite course! This was... More

We made a special trip up to Sonoma for this pairing. The grounds were amazing and we had so many different types of foods and wines. This is not a cheap experience, but the staff is excellent and the dishes were expertly prepared. (Side note, the regular chef was not there—so the sous chef prepared the dishes) He was amazing—he... Just pure coincidence, that we’ve got seats for lunch. Came there with my wife just trying to test some Sonoma wines, learned that there was last moment cancellation… and became two of 12 lucky ones. We knew the wine is good, we expected some small snacks to go with it. Instead we received full 5 course lunch, with different wine... More

Had the pleasure of attending a wine and food pairing at St Francis, considered to be the best in the area. I had been before but that was under the previous chef. The experience was as great as ever. The five courses this time were a dayboat scallop paired with a very dry Gewürztraminer; cucumber gazpacho made creamy with the... More

We had booked a wine and food pairing at lunch for our last day in Sonoma. Overall the wine discussion and lunch felt rushed and commercial. -----too much like a number before the next group. The chef made only a brief appearance at the end of the food service with a few quick comments. When I asked for another taste... More

My family was in town for a visit and they wanted a wine and food pairing experience. I have always been a fan of St. Francis winery and their amazing wines for years and I have also have enjoyed their food and wine pairing numerous times, so it was an easy decision to recommend St. Francis. They won the #1... More

We stumbled into this winery after searching on Trip Advisor for a place for lunch & wine. Apparently they are booked out 3 weeks in advance after being rated #1 by Open Table. The staff (Alan) made us feel welcome anyway and sat us outside with a flight of wine and a plate of tasty snack. The merlot and Zin... More

Great location and hostess was terrific. We were able to have a picnic lunch out on the lawn. The view is exceptional.
