We've enjoyed excellent food and wine pairings before, but never one more thoughtful or more attuned to bringing out the range of tastes in food and wine equally. Since the menu changes on a rolling basis according to the wines that become available (a new course is rotated in roughly once each week) there's not to be gained from singling... More

The food and wine pairing lunch was amazing. The chef has managed to make each ingredient be able to stand alone. The staff was knowledgeable of each pour. This was one of the best dining experiences ever.

We arrived at St. Francis not expecting much. We hadn't heard a lot about the wines, other than the fantastic wine and food pairing that they put together. We stopped in and, luckily, got hooked with Dean James for a tasting in their beautiful tasting room. Dean was the consummate host and breathed life into the stories behind each bottle... More

We visited this winery during our stay at the Fairmont Mission Inn & Spa. And I am glad we did so. The staff was very kind and courteous and made us feel welcome. We tasted a few wines and we thought some of them were quite exquisite. We liked the Syrah a lot and ended up buying it as well.... More

We visited 5 wineries during our stay in Sonoma county and the experience in the tasting room was outstanding. Unlike other wineries in the area, in St Francis we had our own member of staff serving us for our tasting ($10 per person), he was very knowledgable and really went the extra mile to help us enjoy the experience.

We visited St Francis for a wine tasting during our stay in Kenwood, Sonoma. We were made to feel very welcome and thoroughly enjoyed the tasting - both for the superb wine and information we gained. We had a wine tasting each so were poured 10 different wines in total allowing us to sample more of the wines. Our only... More

Made reservations as far out as possible based upon all the spectacular reviews, including the "Voted #1 in America" by Open Table users. We walked in skeptical and walked out convinced! Even before the scheduled meal time, and as you check in, one is poured a glass of sauvignon blanc to enjoy as you walk around. At the scheduled time,... More

Reserved a wine pairing luncheon based on the wonderful reviews and my husband and I were certainly in agreement; it was fabulous. Lovely semi circular setting for our food/wine experience while gazing at a beautiful landscape. Our server was very informative and most pleasant. Each small (appetizer size) plate of food was accompanied by a wine. Each were different but... More

My wife and I made reservations for the food and wine pairing (reservations a must as they go fast). We were a little scared as we didn't know what half of the food was on the menu (come on we are from the south...it's fried chicken and taters). When we first arrived they give you a glass of wine to... More

This food and wine pairing was well worth the price. About sixteen people are seated around in a semi-circle and five courses of appropriate food and wines are served. Our favorite was the salmon with pepper and zucchini. The seasoning was subtle and brought out the wonderful taste of the red wine. Also worth mentioning was the chicken with mushrooms... More
