Great place to get out and walk, if you park out on Montgomery Dr you can walk in but if you want to go in and park there is a fee. Nice trails, swimming pond and fishing lake. A short walk or drive over to Howarth park there is Lake Ralphine, a 25-acre lake offering a variety of activities with... More

Great place to walk, hike and walk dogs! Several different areas to explore. A gem in the middle of Santa Rosa.

This is one of the most popular and used parks in Santa Rosa. Cars are always lined up along the road near one of the entrance trails. If you like to walk amidst lovely scenery, this is the place.

Great place to run or walk or biker or do exercise in general in Santa Rosa! We went through both Howarth Park as well as Spring Lake Park and the walk was wonderful with lots to see!

Love to walk around the lake, beautifully maintained area. Wish they had a more separate area for bikers versus walkers, sometimes the bikes can take away from some of the charm of walking.

Close to town, but it seems a world away. You can bike or hike the trail around the lake. You can take a SUP, pedal boat or small boat without a motor onto the lake or swim in the lagoon. If you like to fish or camp, that's available, too. There's also a grill that operates on weekends and in... More

Hello All, I just want to say I go to Spring Lake / Howarth Park for 4 years now. I use the lake for exercise (about a 4 mile run) every other week but more often then most I go just to clear my mind. Usually in the afternoon when it's less crowded and I just sit on a bench... More

Its a nice place for hiking. We didn't get a chance to explore the entire park, but I think they have pony rides. There were a kids and adults fishing in the lake. We might go there again for kayaking.

What a beautiful place to hike on a nice day. Views of Santa Rosa Creek Reservoir, birdlife & trees. A maintenance guy we talked to said he's seen fresh water otters there early in the am. You can take a short hike or a long hike, keep it rather flat, or go for hills. Bicycling, horseback, bikes, skateboards and doggies... More

Lots to do and see. Bring the usual... picnic, blanket, balls, frisbee and also hiking shoes and a fishing pole. No worries if you don't have time to pack a picnic, there are food stands and drinks available on site. We went across the street and ordered pizza and brought it back. Lots of table and benches in back by... More
