Hello All, I just want to say I go to Spring Lake / Howarth Park for 4 years now. I use the lake for exercise (about a 4 mile run) every other week but more often then most I go just to clear my mind. Usually in the afternoon when it's less crowded and I just sit on a bench... More

Its a nice place for hiking. We didn't get a chance to explore the entire park, but I think they have pony rides. There were a kids and adults fishing in the lake. We might go there again for kayaking.

What a beautiful place to hike on a nice day. Views of Santa Rosa Creek Reservoir, birdlife & trees. A maintenance guy we talked to said he's seen fresh water otters there early in the am. You can take a short hike or a long hike, keep it rather flat, or go for hills. Bicycling, horseback, bikes, skateboards and doggies... More

Lots to do and see. Bring the usual... picnic, blanket, balls, frisbee and also hiking shoes and a fishing pole. No worries if you don't have time to pack a picnic, there are food stands and drinks available on site. We went across the street and ordered pizza and brought it back. Lots of table and benches in back by... More

Spring Lake Park is a popular destination for walkers. It takes about one hour to walk around the lake. It's scenic and fun.

Love Spring Lake! Something for everyone. Science center, swimming, kayaking, walking/biking trails, camping, workout fitness course. Our whole family loves Spring Lake. We make a trip at least once a month for a picnic, walk and kayaking.

Sprin Lake Park is a beautiful natural break from our busy lives, near town. Well paved trails are easy for bikes, strollers and walkers, runners, but you can choose to ride "off-road" on the many well marked trails. A great way to keep in shape and well-balanced.

This is a lovely county park with a lake and walking paths situated in the city of Santa Rosa. Whenever I have gone, I have felt a little out of it being one of the few visitors without a dog on a leash. A nice place to relax and dog watch.
