We drink wine and believe others do because we love the taste, it has some health benefits, but more than anything it evokes dreaming or reminiscing of the experiences had while drinking wine. Walking in, the Gong stands out as very zen to welcome you, however the tasting room seems an afterthought vs. a selling point. I've read the other... More

Highly recommend a visit to Harvest Moon Winery. Small, family-run boutique winery with some amazing wines! For more, check out my wine & travel blog www.uncorkedwinetravels.com

The very small tasting room was overcrowded with people during WinterWineLand. Not their fault but it was difficult to get any kind of information on their wines with the rush of people. We didn't care for any of their wines, very acidic.

We visited this winery as our first stop on a day of tasting. To get to the tasting room you pass the work areas of the winery which is fun, and the folks working were friendly and called out to us. We were there a bit early for our tasting and they had no problem bringing us right in. They... More

Great place, great zin and randy the winemaker poured and educated us about his wine. I like a lot if the wineries on Olivet. Probably one of our top experiences while on a 4 day sonoma trip

We thorougly enjoyed our visit at this winery! We were provided valuable information about the selection (which was an AWESOME selection of wines). We will most certainly return to this winery.

I've been coming to this winery every year for fours years during Barrel Tasting event in the area and it's always in our itinerary. They have live music, chocolate for tasting and absolutely wonderful late harvest Zinfandel and Gewürztraminer.

Great wines! I liked late harvest ones. Very friendly staff! A must stop! Small patio with few tables, very nice and peaceful. Very neat and clean.

The nice quaint location and the tasting room and outside seating area were very nice, and we were very happy with the friendly host, but we were disappointed with their wine. Their style is very light, and we have had much better wine elsewhere in the area. There was an obvious lack of any fruit on the nose, and lack... More

Husband and I stopped here on our first day of arrival, and we're glad we did, because, it was one of our favorites. Very laid-back atmosphere, and non- stuffy. Randy was knowledgable and had us, as well as the other guests laughing while enjoying the different wines. We really enjoyed Harvest Moon, and even joined their wine club!
