You will learn things about the Santa Rosa area you never knew before. And the changing exhibits are wonderful.

We've enjoyed several exhibits and fundraisers..one was at the McDonald's Mansion..it was incredible! This museum is a true labor of love and I always look forward to their events and I learn a lot and we enjoy ourselves. Highly recommend the Sonoma County Museum!

If you are a history buff and interested in how immigrants changed the landscape of Sonoma County then this small but very interesting location offers maps, photos, and documents that detail the families and changes that make Sonoma the agricultural gem it is today. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and will even help suggest lodging and the best in-town... More

Sometimes they will have interesting exhibits is all I have to share. As far as museums go this is so-so. Located in downtown Santa Rosa, it's nice to stroll the streets, restaurants.

Finally went into this museum and what a surprise. The exhibit space was larger than I expected. The exhibits were interesting. Plus the mall is nearby for shopping. And restaurant and a brewery are nearby also. What a gem.

You can count on this small museum to always have intriguing exhibits. The recent Tsar's Cabinet exhibit was excellent. The garden is very nice. This place is definitely worth a stop when you're in Santa Rosa.

This place is the old Santa Rosa post office and has wonderful architecture, not to mention interesting local art and a nice gift shop.
