Nagasawa Kanaye, a young samurai from Satsuma Clan in Southern Japan who was originally sent to Britain to acquire the western knowledge for modernization end up settling here and dedicated his life for wine making. The view was amazing! The wine was good but pricey and, unfortunately, our server was distracted with preparing for an event that evening. Bring a picnic or snacks with you and hang out a while. Lots of unique art pieces throughout the property.

I contacted several wineries in this area for a wedding venue (we live near Seattle and have never been to wine country). Paradise winery was the ONLY one to respond with a phone call from a wedding coordinator - Denise. Not only was she AMAZING, but when we got there the day before our wedding to pick a ceremony site... More

Beautiful location overlooking the valley. Very friendly staff that make sure you enjoy your visit. You do your tasting at a small table, which is set up for your group, and there's no attempt to hurry you. When I Googled Paradise Ridge, it gave me directions to a satellite tasting room. When I told the woman there that I had... More

GOOD LORD we enjoy these folks. We've gotten to know the folks over at Paradise Ridge over the past 6 months or so, and they really go way out of their way to ensure that people are welcomed, having fun, enjoying their superb wine, and benefitting from their awesome knowledge of the wines and the area. In our opinion, definitely... More

Stopped here for lunch on our way back from Healdsburg to Pleasanton. Enjoyed tasting their wines, but the highlight was an excellent wood fired pizza from the onsite Rosso Pizzeria. Great view of the Russian River Valley from their deck. Not sure if the pizza is available all the time so you might call ahead to check.

I found out about this place last minute, what a find. Absolutely stunning views of the valley and mountains. This locale is way, way up in the hills. But not far from vintners inn in Santa Rosa. Less than 20 mins. We booked the wine and cheese tasting and enjoyed sampling 4 wines and nibbles of cheese on the terrace... More

My now-husband and I held our recent wedding at Paradise Ridge. The views at the winery are unbeatable and overlook the Sonoma Valley. We visited on the Tuesday before our wedding to walk through the final details with Martha, their event coordinator, and also had a wine tasting. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful during all of the wedding... More

Friendly staff, beautiful location, great art, music, and some of the best wine in the world! It doesn't Get any better than that. You can see why they have 60 weddings a year here. Just a great place! We are red wine people, but the whites at the tasting we're amazing also. The Pinot noir was our favorite, medium bodied,... More

Enjoyed a Sept evening on their spacious patio. Music was old-school but the views were gorgeous, wine was very good & the goat cheese w/ fig & basil pizza was awesome. Very relaxing - amazing sculptures throughout the grounds & very easy to find.
