Recomended by our hotel, but upon arrival staff member didn't seem interested in us and explained he was too busy with other (6) customers getting ready for a tour. We wanted a hire for 2-3 hours (no tour) but still wasn't interested, said was still too busy. We walked and took our $$$$ elsewhere, their loss. More

I tried Segway under pressure from my 13 year old son and his friend while visiting Santa Monica. I was not prepared for this and I should not have been wearing 3 inch wedge sandals and a thin cardigan but sometimes you just have to go for it. I was scared to death --- but it turned out to be... I went to the shop in early December 2011 and there were 3 mid-20's guys in the shop. I asked about a tour later that day or tomorrow and they replied that they need at least 5 people before taking a tour out. They simply weren't interested in our business (as 2 mid-30's folks). Perhaps this was a very slow... More

This was my first segway experience but I hope it won't be my last cuz it was really FUN! :) I mean, what's not to like about being able to zip around up to 12 mph and turn on a dime, all on an elevated platform that gives you an additional 8-10 inches in height? OK, so there IS a... More

We were travelling with our teenage son aged 15 and used our time with the segways to cruise along to Venice Beach on a beautiful sunny afternoon. Lots of fun and a very chilled activity we all enjoyed together. The staff were really helpful in instructing us beforehand to ensure that we were all roadworthy and safe before we hit... More

We wanted to try out Segways after seeing so many people on them and seemingly enjoying them. So, we visited Segway LA’s Santa Monica office and they lined us up with a two-hour rental. Neil clearly explained how they worked and cautions on operating them. After completing the paperwork, Seth ran the video instruction and provided our one-on-one instruction. His... More

We had always wanted to try a Segway and this time we did. You get trained in the shop, then taken down to the boardwalk to start . Under 4 people you are on your own. We rode to Venice Beach , stopped for a drink, then rode back towards Malibu. Thoroughly enjoye dthe experience on alovely sunny day. Not... More

My boyfriend surprised me with a segway tour of Los Angeles through Miracle Mile, The Page Museum, and LACMA. We also saw part of the Berlin Wall and the tar pits. Our guide Angelica was AWESOME! She taught us to ride with confidence and with such professionalism mixed with personality! As our guide she led us around the city, stopping... More

I had actually purchased this as a groupon so it was on sale but now that I've done this we'd pay full price. I booked a tour thru Segway Los Angeles about a month ahead of time since I was only really able to go one day. We thought we were joining a group for a guided tour but to... More

Just did the segway at Santa Monica on10/01/2011 for 2 hours at US$79. Must try, definitely an entirely new way of crusing down Santa Monica to Venice Beach! But be careful not to ride the segway down 3rd Street Promenade..it's not allowed there though. More
