they advertise as a tour but just gave us the segways and let us go off on our own. went to Venice Beach and back and had enough time left to go a bit further along Santa Monica beach. My 13 year old loved it.

Great fun thing to do with teenage kids. slightly awkward online booking (but walk ins also accepted if you are willing to take a chance on equipment being available) comprehensive training, well maintained equipment. Beautiful traffic free cycle path to use. A fantastic couple of hours

We went on the twilight tour which starts at the Santa Monica beach and goes north down the beach. Had a great time! The tour guide was really friendly and the Segways were super fun to ride. The Segway itself is well worth a go if you haven't tried it and the location is very impressive. Definitely recommended.

We loved our Segway rentals. The staff (Kyle) at Segway Los Angeles was so nice. He gave us a lesson on how to operate the Segways and escorted us to the beach path. My only advice would be to practice getting on and off a few times before leaving the rental office. 2 of the 4 of us fell getting... More

A week prior, I booked on-line, without any problems, the 2 hour tour as a birthday surprise for hubby. Not only was he really surprised, but he loved the unique SEGWAY experience as a first-timer! Our guide was extremely helpful, patience and safety focused as we got the "feel" for the SEGWAY in their store prior to heading to the... More

Absolutely great experience, the experience of doing the tour via Segway deserves 5 stars alone. Our guide Kevin was a great instructor and was very in the know about awesome places to eat and little facts that you usually wouldn't learn on a regular tour. Would do again 1000 times over!

Instructor and tour guide was great. Very patient and concerned with safety of riders. More of a ride along the beach from Santa Monica to Venice than a "tour". There were a few stops along the way for pictures. Overall, a very pleasant experience.

My husband had been wanting to try a segway for awhile so when I found a deal on living social I decided to surprise him for our anniversary. I really didn't think I would like it BUT I was wrong - it was easy and FUN! Suzanne was our guide as we rode around Long Beach near the Queen Mary.... More
