Great Wines at this boutique winery. Bordeaux wines can be found at the shack while the Burgundy wines are at the new location. Charming and quaint with knowledgable staff.

Foxen has been around a while and has a consistency that is much appreciated by those of us that don't live close enough to visit regularly to taste all of the new vintages. Of particular note was this year's rose - a must have if you can still find some.

The Service: They have two tasting rooms. We love the little shack location. That tasting room is a little bit small but lots character. There is nice outdoor seating area. The other tasting room is newer and more modern. They also sell other retail items other than wines. All the staffs are very knowledgeable and helpful. They give great recommendation... More

While it's a drive, Foxen is worth a visit. We were met by a very friendly hostess. There are several choices for tastings and the pours are healthy and the wines very good.

I love both of the Foxen Tasting rooms. I went to the fancy one this time and joined their wine club. The First visit to the Foxen Shack was so memorable and I was bummed I didn't join their wine club. The few bottles I bought went quickly. This time, I became a member. Glad I did.

We were wine tasting on a busy weekend - Solvang Danish Days and the start of the Harvest. This winery was crowded and we didn't get very good service. The "pourer" was very interested in the woman next to us who kept saying she liked a certain wine because it tasted like Red Velvet cupcake. I am not sure I... More

LOVE LOVE LOVE all of their wines - esply the cabernet sauvignon. Their tasting rooms are actually in two locations, one is the original and one is newer, and each offers different varieties to sample. These wines are "hand-crafted" - superior to most! We recommend.

We figured that since we spent so much time on Foxen Canyon Road (from Hwy 166 to Hwy 154 is a simply delightful drive if you like back roads) that we should assuage our guilt and stop at the tasting room. The people were delightful, the atmosphere relaxed and we got a couple of nice bottles to take home.

I enjoyed all of their Pinots at this stop. Staff knows their wines and the tasting included some surprises they had open that day.
