Description: At Margarita Adventures, we offer a uniquely thrilling perspective on true...
At Margarita Adventures, we offer a uniquely thrilling perspective on true California landmarks-the historic Santa Margarita Ranch and Santa Margarita Lake. Our guided kayaking tours will take you on a serene and beautiful excursion to Santa Margarita Lake, where you are sure to see an abundance of birds and wildlife. Tour includes lunch. On our zipline tours, you will embark on five distinct ziplines spanning more than 4,800 total feet, starting with an epic 1,300-foot valley crossing and finishing with our biggest yet: a whopping 1,800-foot soar over right over the vineyard! Tour - Along the way, you will learn about the ranch's remarkable natural features and role as part of California's famed Mission Trail. Your tour concludes in the historic hamlet of Santa Margarita, where you have the option to sample wines from the ranch. Advance reservations are required. Nature - During your tour, you will experience the remarkably diverse natural environment of Santa Margarita Ranch, which spans five distinct soil types and numerous habitats across 14,000 acres. Sustainability - Santa Margarita Ranch is a testament to how native ecosystems can be nurtured and even restored within a working ranch and vineyard environment. During your tour, you will learn about the numerous sustainable practices that are making a difference in the land and what it produces. History - From early Native American inhabitants to Spanish padres, Mexican generals and colorful outlaws, Santa Margarita Ranch boasts an illustrious cultural and historical pedigree that is unrivaled on California's Central Coast. Wine - Santa Margarita Ranch's sustainably farmed vineyard is the southernmost vineyard in the Paso Robles American Viticultural Area (AVA). During your tour, you will discover why Sunset Magazine called Paso Robles "the West's most exciting wine region." With our four ziplines, we aim to change your perspective, both literally and figuratively. Our tour is designed to accentuate our larger mission: to promote a deeper appreciation for our natural surroundings, and to ultimately see things a bit differently while providing a thrilling experience along the way.

My grandson and I had a great time on the 10AM program on Friday. Staff were friendly and professional. Staff driving the van was engaging and informative...we would have signed up for a second go around, but it was a bit expensive..... That's not a criticism, just a fact. Many thanks again and I will recommend you to friends and... More

The was the best zipline I've visited to date. Helpful staff to be sure you are doubly safe. What a great way to spend a couple of hours, learn about the history of the range and the vineyards.

We made our reservations for zip lines a couple of days ahead (you can do this online or over the phone). Each adult is $99 and each kid is $79. Each group can be as big as 21 people and the whole tour takes 2.5 hours. Our guide Willie (and 4 helpers) was excellent. He gave us information about the... More

Found the information on Trip Adviser as we were looking for something to do for a quick weekend away. What a day it was. Arrived at the office earlier than our scheduled time and they were so accomodating. Everyone associated with the company was kind and had a smile on their face the entire time. Out to the mountain we... More

We went zip lining for the first time and didn't know what to expect. The crew at Margarita Adventures delivered an A+ experience for my family that they will not soon forget. From check-in, to the tour, and finally the wine tasting everything was very professional, fun and well organized.

What a fun day. Perfect for kids and parents alike. We started off our day in Santa Margarita at the Southern Station for lunch, which was very enjoyable (see separate review). Then we went to Margarita Adventures for some zip lining fun. First, you go into the office and sign the customary waiver of liability for yourself and your kids.... More

I think people will enjoy this outing as long as they know what to expect. In a 2 hour excursion you are zip-lining for, maybe, 2 minutes. Most of the time is spent on a narrated drive to/from and around the Santa Margarita Ranch. You get a good dose of California/local history, wine grape information and maybe some wild life... More

What a fun experience. Took the kids (7 and 9) to the ziplines. They both enjoyed it. The bus ride to the zip line area was full of information about the area and the fun stories between the bears and the vineyards. We saw many deer on the way back. My son was old and courageous enough to go on... More
