Description: At Margarita Adventures, we offer a uniquely thrilling perspective on true...
At Margarita Adventures, we offer a uniquely thrilling perspective on true California landmarks-the historic Santa Margarita Ranch and Santa Margarita Lake. Our guided kayaking tours will take you on a serene and beautiful excursion to Santa Margarita Lake, where you are sure to see an abundance of birds and wildlife. Tour includes lunch. On our zipline tours, you will embark on five distinct ziplines spanning more than 4,800 total feet, starting with an epic 1,300-foot valley crossing and finishing with our biggest yet: a whopping 1,800-foot soar over right over the vineyard! Tour - Along the way, you will learn about the ranch's remarkable natural features and role as part of California's famed Mission Trail. Your tour concludes in the historic hamlet of Santa Margarita, where you have the option to sample wines from the ranch. Advance reservations are required. Nature - During your tour, you will experience the remarkably diverse natural environment of Santa Margarita Ranch, which spans five distinct soil types and numerous habitats across 14,000 acres. Sustainability - Santa Margarita Ranch is a testament to how native ecosystems can be nurtured and even restored within a working ranch and vineyard environment. During your tour, you will learn about the numerous sustainable practices that are making a difference in the land and what it produces. History - From early Native American inhabitants to Spanish padres, Mexican generals and colorful outlaws, Santa Margarita Ranch boasts an illustrious cultural and historical pedigree that is unrivaled on California's Central Coast. Wine - Santa Margarita Ranch's sustainably farmed vineyard is the southernmost vineyard in the Paso Robles American Viticultural Area (AVA). During your tour, you will discover why Sunset Magazine called Paso Robles "the West's most exciting wine region." With our four ziplines, we aim to change your perspective, both literally and figuratively. Our tour is designed to accentuate our larger mission: to promote a deeper appreciation for our natural surroundings, and to ultimately see things a bit differently while providing a thrilling experience along the way.

This group made our experience so amazing. The history behind the farm that the zip lining is on makes it even better.

We went as a family outing and had so much fun. The buss driver was so knowledgable and it was great to hear the history of the ranch. Safety was a priority and made me feel comfortable in letting my kids ride the zip lines. Thanks again.

What a great adventure. Five zip lines. The first was Scarry but once you jumped it was great. Then the rest of them were easier. The last one (and the longest) was over the vineyard. Wonderful.

agree with what most people say about this place. The staff is very friendly, the guide was great (she told us lots of interesting and current information relevant to our tour) and the zip lines were a blast. Only sad we weren't here to see the 6th zip line, as it was not built yet. We went with our 13-year-old... More

On the way up to zip line we were shuttled up in the bus, with AC on, and a nice tutorial on the history of how it all began and the wild life,... More

We did the Slip, rip and zip package that included the ziplining, ATVs at Pismo beach and Ravine waterpark. It was a great way to spend a quick camping trip. The ziplining was very safe and my 9 yo daughter was able to do 4 of the 5 lines by herself which was a huge confidence booster. The staff was... More

I was very afraid to do zip lining, still not sure if it's my favorite thing to pass time, but the employees here did make it very fun and tried to ease my fears as best they could. They were funny, entertaining and very knowledgeable of the ranch and surrounding areas. There were 5 zip lines in all and I... More
