If you walk down a staircase which is toward the end of the wharf on your left, you will be able to come very close to sea lions and watch them rest. We also rented a couple of kayaks and went for a paddle which was very nice too.

When you visit the wharf, make sure you wear a hat, there are so many seagulls dive bombing you. Go to Stagnaro's at the end of shops and have the calamari, it is fresh and crispy. Very good drinks and awesome food, great views from the upper deck.

Not much to say. It's a nice wharf, with a good sea, beach and city view. What's different about this place is the great number of sea lions laying beneath the wharf. You'll probably hear them, because they are really loud. You can see them really close if you walk on the left side and go down on the ramp.

Love walking on the Pier/Wharf, people were very pleasant and the shops were fun. There is a variety of food. Check out the Sea Lions pretty fun watching and hearing them. Kids will love seeing the Sea Lions.

I enjoy Santa Cruz Wharf because of the view and the options you have to relax and watch the sea lions, eat or shop. Walking this one wharf which isn't perhaps one of the biggest but it is still a good long walk but awesome. You can also drive on this wharf and park where you wish to eat at.... More

It was fun to walk down the wharf. Nice sea food options, and pretty good shops. Lots of parking space available around the wharf area, and on the wharf too. While on the wharf, take the steps down to watch the sea lions. You can find a big group of them happily resting under the wharf. Nice spot for fishing,... More

Liked: plenty of parking on the wharf, seafood restaurants and shops. The wharf was clean and there is a large sink and a number of blocks fixed on the rail for cleaning fish, a nice detail for those who fish. Disliked: nothing

No matter what time of year, there always seems to be some event going on. Never a dull moment on the Wharf.
