Perfect evening for a stroll, not crowded, nice shops that stay open later then the Boardwalk. One can sit on the pier and watch the sunset, surfers and listen to the seals. Very romantic.

Always a pleasure to see the sea lions. I was surprised that we are no longer allowed to feed them, but it makes sense.

There is nothing out on this wharf worth seeing --other than the view looking back on the boardwalk. Restaurants look tired and overpriced. Shops filled with junk.

If someone asked what they should do if they wanted to see the Santa Cruz beach and waterfront, the SC Wharf would have to be one of the highlights. Here's how to do it: 1. Park in a legal parking place in the Seabright neighborhood, near the San Lorenzo River and railroad trestle. 2. Walk across the trestle and enter... More

Our family parked several blocks away and took a fun bike cab to the wharf, a long pier full of touristy shops and restaurants. Our cabbie brought us to a nice spot on the wharf, took several nice photos of us, gave us information about the area and suggested places to eat and shop. If you drive, be aware that... More

Really awesome restaurants and shops as well as sea lions and a spectacular view of the water! Really friendly people and an excellent spot for souvenir shopping or grabbing some lunch as well as a good view of all the rides!

The best clam chowder around! This is why we come to the wharf. The way to my husband's heart and stomach!

Same reviews as the Boardwalk ... a fun place to spend some time with great views and a few good restaurants. Try Ideal Fish. We're local so when we go we either ride our bikes or park far away and walk. It's a much better experience when you aren't driving.

Rather tired and dirty. Santa Monica's wharf is in much better shape. Good news was the seals which perch below the pier. There are viewing cut outs so you can see them lounging about or playing nearby in the water.

This place is a nice break from all the high priced places in town and a beautiful view ta'boot. To some it may be "run down" to me it is comfortable. Well appreciated by thousands before me. A good indicator that it's liked by locals. My only issue is the servers do not take your money at the table. Some... More
