I thought this wharf would have attractive little special shops & good restaurants, but it was the usual tourist tat & expensive cafes, pretending to be up-market restaurants. We looked into most restaurants along the wharf & some looked in need of a make-over. Some were very old fashioned & didn't look fresh enough to sit & enjoy food.

We enjoyed walking down the pier. Be prepared take a sweater it gets chilly there even in July. Didn't care for the cold. I don't remember the place we ate at, but it was good. Clam chowder excellent

I was disappointed in the Newengland clam chowder... I would think that a resturant on the Ocean would have a better chowder... San Francisco blows Santacruz out of the watter

I loved the shops and restaurants! We ate at one that was very good! Typical souvenir shops, costly...but still bought something!

This is a good place to take a stroll and watch sea otters playing. There are a few tourist trap shops and a number of restaurants, but none that I can really recommend for a good meal. The highlight is that in the middle of the wharf there is a recharging station for an electric car.

Go eat there, go eat there!!!! If you ever travel to Santa Cruz, you have to go The Wharf to eat. It sits right next to the boardwalk and has some of the best and most fresh food in the whole area. It also has some of the cutest little shops to explore. You can watch the seals, go fishing,... More

This very long pier boasts shops and restaurants, and you can see the beach and the boardwalk from it, as well as the long stretch of beach. Down on the small platforms you can see sea lions and nesting seagulls in the rafters below the surface. Take a stroll and take in this scenic and highly picturesque atmosphere.

Sea lions were out. It was a little cooler, but we loved it! Great restaurants and gift shops. Many people were fishing there.
