Beautiful views from this old wooden boardwalk. Lots of great restaurants and shops to visit. Nothing but scenery along the way, and of course, a few sea lions along the way. Lots of parking, and historical information along the way. Typical California Coastal views!

This time we parked on the pier and were surprised it was only a $ an hour . There are quite a few food establishments available . The smells wafting from each restaurant got us hungry rather quickly ! Apart from the great view looking back at the beach , the main attraction for us is the sea lions .... More

This is a wonderful place to stroll thru if you are not sure where you want to eat. You will find something here you like and have a spectacular view in the bargain!

We loved checking out the seals and it was great going at sunset. After dinner we checked out the shops and got a few trinkets and t-shirts.

We enjoyed two great walks on/on the Santa Cruz Wharf. No better place to enjoy a terrific seafood dinner with views of Monterey Bay at sunset. Timed it right for sunset behind the Santa Cruz Lighthouse along beautiful West Cliff Drive. It was fun to see sea lions under the wharf on the walk back to town too. A visit... More

We took a walk up the wharf and visited some shops and got a bowl of chowder. The shops were just a little over-priced and so was the food. But the view almost made up for that. I would recommend visiting, but maybe shop or eat elsewhere.

A really great wharf for a long stroll, while picking out a restaurant. The ocean life on view is sometimes extraordinary with seals and sea-lions hunting bait to the surface while pelicans dive and fight with seagulls over the treasures of the sea.

The wharf is celebrating it's 100 birthday this year and there are a lot of activities going on that should appeal to all. There are great restaurants and gift shops galore!!

If you walk down a staircase which is toward the end of the wharf on your left, you will be able to come very close to sea lions and watch them rest. We also rented a couple of kayaks and went for a paddle which was very nice too.
