On a nice sunny day I would recommend waking up the wharf and having a bite to eat while relaxing in the sun. If it's not sunny walk up there away. There are so many seals swimming about, laying on the docks and up on the cross bars to the wharf. I found it very entertaining and interesting to watch... More

Walked out to the end with our grandkids recently, and got very close to a large group of sea lions resting on a ramp just below. The kids loved it! Also, had a really good meal at Las Olitas Cantina and Grill.

Loved this area and loved this wharf, lots to see and there are a cafes and restaurants located at the end and on the actual wharf. During our visit there was a large number of sea lions in attendance making themselves at home under the wharf and on the floating barge next to the wharf. At the top end was... More

Competition among the unpretentious restaurants has been to serve good "family style" food for reasonable prices with all family members welcome by a wait staff who has been... More

There is a small fee for parking, but once in, there seems to be enough spots. We went to an early dinner in May and chanced to be there when the surfers were taking advantage of some nice waves. Nice dinner show!

Plenty of places to choose from for lunch or dinner. Seafood is great. Wear or bring a coat the wind can be pretty cool.

Come out to the pier early in the morning and see the seals underneath cavorting and having a great time. You get great views of the Boardwalk and there are some good restaurants out there, too.

The best restaurants are on the wharf, you can find amazing fresh seafood and the view of the beach and boardwalk is incredible.

Noisy sea lions are calling the pier home. Lots of restaurants and gift shops, people are fishing there at night. Pay to park, free to walk
