Superb troupe, wonderful presentation. On the brink of bankruptcy Patrick Stewart stepped up and helped ensure its continuation for a bit. Quite the treasure.

This was our first visit to "the glen" and it was a perfect setting in which to view the Bard's works. Good acoustics, great set that blended perfectly into the natural splendor of the redwoods and fine acting all around. We saw the fringe show and were so impressed with these "interns." It was fun to come back to this great outdoor venue and this production did not disappoint. One of the best Shakespeare plays done just right. Kudos to all who had a hand in the return of this great Santa Cruz tradition.

Shakespeare lives on in Santa Cruz! The festival has been reborn as Santa Cruz Shakespeare and the new organization has negotiated with UCSC to use the same location, the beautiful glen for the 2014 season which recently opened with 'As You Like It' and will be joined with 'Merry Wives of Windsor' and as in past years, a 'fringe' show... The website states that SSC has closed its doors as of December 8, 2013? Could the staff of SCC kindly respond?
