We spent a beautiful afternoon touring Santa Cruz walking its beautiful residential streets and admiring the local architecture and enjoying the local eateries. Our guide Bryan showed us some great parts of Santa Cruz that we would have never experienced. We cannot wait to come back to Santa Cruz to visit Penny Creamery. More

I've lived in the San Francisco Bay Area almost all my life and never knew all this interesting information about Santa Cruz, California history, architecture and food. Even if you're a Santa Cruz local, the Santa Cruz Food Tour is a great activity to do with out of town guests. You don't have to be a foodie to appreciate the... More

Walking tours are a great way to get introduced to a new city and the food tour was no exception. This tour is about lots more than just food, such as the city's history, architecture and current culture. The beginning of the tour is light on food and heavy on touring. Most of the walking takes place in the first... More

This is an amazing tour of five wonderful "eatting opportunities" as well as an educational tour of Santa Cruz - all on foot! Brian, our guide, was a delightful host to this event. If you have a free afternoon in Santa Cruz, this is a must. We were told that gift certificates are available; a perfect gift for Christmas or... More

My husband and I found out about this interesting food tour last minute. Wow, was it great. We travel a lot and wish there was a fun and informative tour like this everywhere we went. We learned more in this one afternoon about Santa Cruz and the local food than on the whole rest of our trip. Our guide was... More

Totally worth your time and money! This is a wonderful way to lean about Santa Cruz for both visitors and locals. My daughter age 17 and I thoroughly enjoyed the walk, the history and the especially the food. Our tour guide Brian was well versed in the history of Santa Cruz and has a knack for interweaving historical facts with... More

Didn't know what to expect when my friend suggested we take the Santa Cruz Food Tour. I'm not a gourmet food person, but I do like to try new things and the promise of learning more about the town was a big draw for me. Wow! Was this great fun. Our guide (Brad) was terrific. He was so knowledgeable and... More

I'm sure some people found this experience delightful and informative but I say it was just so so. I don't consider olive oil tasting or a scoop of ice cream, although it was delicious, to be a food tour especially since the ice cream was the second stop. It is an okay time, but I would never have paid full... More

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on our downtown Santa Cruz Food Tour. Your feelings about the oil and vinegar tasting and the hand made organic & seasonal ice cream tasting proves you can’t please all the people all the time. I say this because at the end of each tour we ask folks what were their favorite stops. 75%... More

I have been living in the bay area for 11 years and been to Santa Cruz less than 10 times. I was glad that I got a chance to attend this food tour to really get a understanding about Santa Cruz. The tour guide Brian was very friendly and knowledgeable, and the places we went had awesome food. I highly... More
