Really expected a restaurant hopping afternoon - and it was that but much, much more. Our tour guide was Brian. Turns out he and his wife are the owners. Brian is both knowledgeable and gregarious which is a perfect combination! Tour goes to 6 restaurant stops, offering a broad selection of foods - from starters to main courses ( tho... More

I tried this food tour after living in the area for 17 years. I had a friend come in from Denver, and wanted to do something fun, and stumbled across this. Brian was an amazing tour guide, and has lots of historical information to share about Santa Cruz. We had six stops where we enjoyed nibbles, and walked around the... More

Although we had been to Santa Cruz many, many times over the years, we had never really looked into its history. So, when we took the "Santa Cruz Food Tour," we were thrilled by the experience. Our guide, Brian, was knowledgeable, articulate, engaging, informative, etc. In other words, all of the good things we expect a tour guide to be.... More

I did the Capitola tour and really enjoyed the tour and the food. This Santa Cruz tour is just as good! The same guide, Brian (sorry, forgot the last name ) led both tours. He is meticulous, thoughtful, engaging and really dedicated to making sure you have wonderful experience. The food selections are really good. You learn something about each... More

In Santa Cruz for one week and as these folks recommended we took the tour at the beginning of our stay so we'd have places to go back to. Boy, what a great introduction to Santa Cruz. I recommend this tour to anyone who loves food, history, stories, architecture and learning about a new place. Our guide was the best... More

My wife and I spent an afternoon with our fantastic tour guide (Brad?) is a whirlwind through downtown Santa Cruz. Usually when we go to the coast we spend most of the time at the Boardwalk. This tour explored downtown and the history that lead up to it. The stories and insights kept us interested and the food stops were... More

We took the food tour recently during a 1 day trip to Santa Cruz & were pleased we did! When we arrived in town and had a wander around there didn't seem to be much to do but when we did the tour our guide Brian told us all about the history and architecture of the town. We enjoyed the... More

Upon graduating from college, my niece (and her husband) were given the wonderful gift of a few days away in Santa Cruz. We though the food tour would be a great experience to add to their vacation. Buying the tickets in advance was a snap; we even wrapped the print-out so that she would have something fun to open at... More

This tour was fabulous. Went with my husband and 17 yr. old daughter. Brian was our tour guide and he was great. I didn't realize that there would be Santa Cruz history and architecture stops along the way. It added so much to the tour. Enjoyed it as much as the food. There was only one small hill at the... Took the Santa Cruz Food Tour yesterday, was very impressed. The guide told us the history of Santa Cruz and we went to five places for sampling, each was unique. The walking was at a comfortable pace, the food was outstanding. At the first stop had Mediterranean style pizza and chinese noodle salad, second stop was ice cream, third stop... More
