We simply love it here with all the shops, rides and the arcade. When you have enough enjoy the beach and the boardwalk watching the seals and otters.

Had fun, corn dogs, taffy, rides, games and more. A trip into the past at the local carnival or a circus w/out the animals. I'm sure it's great for kids or the little kid in you. Just can't get enough skee ball, but I miss the tickets.

Since i was a kid i always wanted to go to an amusement park by the sea. Theres coney Island which was cool when went but the Santa Cruz Boardwalk is the one that imagined when young i think...its like the one in the movie Lost Boys...I think it might have been filmed there actually...anyways cheesy rides, cool games, haunted... Kids will enjoy some of the rides, food, and proximity to the beach. I think it's fun to just walk along and soak it all in. The old main roller coaster is retro in a bad way--watch your neck and back, or better, just watch other people ride it. I love the aerial tram that provides great views of the... More

It's always fun to be at the seaside. The Santa Cruz boardwalk is big, loud and overwhelming - in a good way. Ride the sky glider for a spectacular view of the attractions, some of which date back over a hundred years. Test your skills at throwing the ring on the carousel - fun for all ages. Or just wonder... More

Since they are so close to where I live we visit often. Not really for the Adults as there are way too many undisciplined children running around. Parking prices are outrageous. I would recommend taking about another hour drive to the Monterey Fisherman's Wharf for the Adults and parking is so much cheaper as the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk is... More

If you're homeless and into harassing tourists it's a wonderful place. The cops don't seem to care or do anything about it. I guess it's also good for tourists who like to be harassed as well.

I have been to the Boardwalk almost every year for the last 25 years. From the historic Giant Dipper to the Cave Train, it is great to visit and have fun at the beach. The Boardwalk provides a great value and has plenty of delicious food and adult beverages to enjoy as well. In the winter, don't forget to visit... More

Great spot. Walk on the beach, ride the attractions, play games, and get a bite to eat. We took a small group of teenage girls for and afternoon and they had a blast. The ride prices were totally reasonable and there are a ton of food options close. The one negative was that about half the rides were closed on... More

Stayed at the Dream Inn and completed the trip back in time by Walking the Wharf and the boardwalk. Of course the journey would not have been complete without a sampling of salt water taffy and a candy apple for home! The sound of children's laughter, screams from the roller coaster and aroma of hot dogs should be part of... More
