This is a great place for kids entertainment-funfair rides etc If you decide not to take the roller-coaster ride-chill out on one of the cool surfboard style seats with candy floss, chocolate or ice-cream-hey why not have all 3!! -you are on your holidays after all!!

This was our 4th. year in going down to Santa Cruz to the Cocoanut Ballroom for our New Year celebration. Great music, with party favors and a large bar makes this evening a ball....We talked some friends into joining us and the said they will be back for next New Year party after spending the evening with 500 of their... For tourists this is great. Try and make it to one of the free concerts on the beach in the summer. We're local so when we go we either ride our bikes or park far away and walk. It's a much better experience when you aren't driving.

We live within walking distance of the Boardwalk, so frequently we will wander by. Where else can you go to a Historic amusement park that is clean, safe and free? If is a real treat to go here and just people watch. They have free rock n' roll concerts in the summers and the roller coster and merry go round... More

We stayed across the street from the boardwalk so we ventured over for a quick walk around. Not all the rides were operating but they did have some options, carnival games and lots of junk food options to choose from. There are a LOT of birds so beware. The end of the boardwalk has a huge arcade with lots of... More

The good thing is that it's free to enter, you just have to pay to go on the rides and for food and activities. The movie " The Lost Boys " was filmed here in the 1980's so we thought that was pretty cool. You can enjoy the beach and the rides all at once. The only negative thing is... More

This is a place that you take the kids and spend the day. It's fun during the day or evening. It's wise to check out the website before you go: beachboardwalk.com I can recommend Surf City Grill and Fisherman's Galley for snacks. The boardwalk is full of sweets and deep fried foods, but if you go to a larger restaurant... More
