Stopped for a night in Santa Cruz on our way down Hwy 1. Always wanted to check out the boardwalk so we walked down, ate some crazy food while looking out at the beach. Great for people watching.

We took a friend from Jamaica to the Boardwalk, his first time seeing a CA beach (which lets face it, there is no comparison to Jamaica's beaches), and his first time riding rides and playing carnival games. This trip was all about new experiences with good friends, adults getting to be kids again, which is so important. We started off... More

We did not go on the rides just walked the 'Board walk' to people watch. Its a good place to see how the American families enjoy the weekend. The prices don't seem expensive and the was lots of unhealthy eateries. When you have finished walk the pier and watch the fishermen. A great way to unwind on holiday. It does... More

Very fun place to visit, I would recommend to go on a hot day, take the kids and enjoy the beautiful ocean view. There were alot of attractions to keep you busy.

We had a blast in the arcades and actually won a jackpot game walking away with about $75 in tickets which we redeemed for some nice prizes. The beach boardwalk is very nice and because the rides were closed there wasn't a crowd.

Great time on a recent trip here with our 5 year old. Lines were decent and there is plenty to do here for an entire day from rides to eats to games to arcades. Fun for everyone. Prices were reasonable with options in everyone's budgets as you can buy tickets for one ride up to a season pass for all... More

Great beach and vibrant scene, great atmosphere. The Sky Glider is a cute ride, be sure to take it! Lots of game stalls around as well.

Nice peaceful walk along the beach and Boardwalk area. Lots of entertainment for kids. Just get ready to pay an arm and a leg for stuff on site. I would recommend going down the street for a good meal at a decent price, unless you are looking for a meal in which everyone pays for themselves...

My wife & I stopped here on our way from San Francisco to Big Sur, and we were having so much fun that our planned 30 minute stop turned into 2 hours. The boardwalk, which has a gigantic car park directly opposite it, is really old-fashioned - in a good way. There are arcades, mini-golf, hot dogs, and rides aplenty.... More

This place is definitely worth spending the day, if you're in the area! They have plenty of thrill rides, as well as family rides, and it was fun for our whole group (ages 6 - 17, plus a couple of 40-something moms) There's a cable car to take you from one end to the other, and a very nice-looking beach....
