Boardwalk is pretty good old fashion fun. There is so much to do and see, and wont pinch the wallet. I went with my family on a Friday night. Because there was a free concert there were a TON of people. If I did it again, I would come back on a weekday night. The boardwalk has all a boardwalk amusement park should from fried twinkies to bumper cars and a pretty cool roller coaster. You can play old school video games or air hockey and drink beer. I don't know what it is about this place but when i used to live in San Jose I would come down here nearly every weekend and I just loved every moment. I think it may have to do with growing up near enough to the Jersey Shore to see boardwalks like this all the time and as a kid... more

We only stopped for a quick break here, but ended up buying some tickets to ride, a Santa Cruz t-shirt and some food. Enjoyed kicking about soaking up the sunshine, people watching and generally enjoying life at a relaxed pace. However, if you wanted to, you could go wild for quite some time !! more
