Have been visiting this beach and boardwalk for over 20 years! Has something for everyone. The tweens and teens love the boardwalk. Adults can relax on the beach and the kids can run back and forth from the rides to the beach. There are plenty of things to eat, hot dog on a stick, pizza hut, burgers. Large kiddie ride... More

Throughout the years, my wife and I, both roller coaster enthusiasts, have visited many amusement parks throughout the country, and if you ever have an opportunity to ride on Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk's GIANT DIPPER roller coaster. This "old woodie" (built in 1924) is one of the most fascinating, breathtaking and all-around FUN roller coasters in the country. Personally, I... More

My boyfriend and I stopped in Santa Cruz on my birthday road trip in October 2014. Unfortunately, the boardwalk was closed when we arrived on Friday night. They were only open on Sat & Sun's. We still enjoyed walking through the boardwalk area and looked at all the areas where The Lost Boys were filmed (which I loved <3). We... More

We took nice walk along the wharf and stopped to take on the beautiful view, shop a little, have lunch, and watch the many sea lions that like to hang out at the end of the pier. The sea lions were amazing. There are tons of them and you can see (and hear) them very close up. There are several... More

We were attending a business event in Santa Cruz on a Saturday and had the afternoon off. Our 10 year old daughter wanted to go to the Boardwalk which was just down the street from our hotel. Winter and summer are very different times here. This is November so the number of rides are limited and the hours are 12:00... More

I have been there so many times to go on the rides- and even though its 74 degrees outside- their not open. Too many homeless people with crying dogs right next to in shape vollyballers. Mix of great food, great views, and construction and homeless people..

Seems like a mile of fun and attractions stretched along the edge of a sandy beach with great views and a full range of different rides for all ages, the chair lift ride gives you a great view of the surroundings, and there are plenty of hotels within walking range...

Lots of fun for the kids. We bought them season passes! They are teenagers so they were able to go on there own and we felt they were safe since it was a very short walk from our hotel!

This is a great park for anyone who isn't looking for the big thrills roller coasters. Free admission so you only pay to go on what you want to go, or get an all day wristband. Great feel. Plenty of fun things like mini golf laser tag and bowling. Plus an amazing view from the ferris wheel.

If you've been to the Boardwalk in Santa Cruz, Ca then you're in for a treat. The Boardwalk is roughly a mile long admusement park with one of the oldest wooden roller coasters in Calif and the Carousal is one of the oldest one as well. I sure you saw Sudden Impact. The are riders, game and food for young... More
