it has all the bad fair food, and crazy prices for everything, but there is a charm to it and the kids love it. if you don't ride the rides or eat the food you can sit and people watch and enjoy the great beach weather. beware of long lines at the attractions and the food is truly the worst... Disappointed in our visit. Prices for individual rides were too expensive and the visitors were dirty, rude, smelling of marijuana everywhere. Overall, I did not feel safe with my young child. I know it's not Disneyland but people smoking pot in the middle of the boardwalk is unacceptable, even for Santa Cruz. Will not be back.

If you just want to see what the Boardwalk is all about - 2 hours leisurely walk end to end - parking is difficult - the parking meters that abound only take quarters - 6 per hour - or a pay card which nothing tells you how to obtain. Stop at the $15/day parking lot across the street and the... More

As this was my first time on the board walk, I have to agree this was an amazing experience! my daughter and I Went on rides, we ate at the wonderful wharf and enjoyed the beautiful view! The rides were fun! The food was good! But some rides were unsanitary! My daughter complained that some of the games were jacked... More

If you are a kid or you just want to feel like a kid, this is the place to be. All the kinds of food you thought you could only get at the state fair is here. The rides are here as well. And the beach is only a staircase away and the blue surf just beyond. What more could... More

We Absolutely love it here! Been coming for over 13 years and still get season passes to Enjoy the rides. The Giant Dipper has and will always be our favorite ride. The coupons we get with the passes are wonderful 2 for one deals for the yummy food. We never leave without getting the garlic fries or the deep fried... More

Great property with an outstanding management team - led by General Manager, Joel Roper. Joel recommended that we visit the Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park and then for dinner go the wharf to dine and observe the countless sea lions and seals. Our family enjoyed a wonderful day of vacation.

Some friends and I headed up to Santa Cruz for the weekend and it was a fun place. If you recall the movie "Lost Boys", you will recognize the Boardwalk. All in all, it's aged nicely and is a fun place to hang out and spend the afternoon. We had alot of fun. Recommend it for anyone--even children (young or... More

Great place to take the family! There are a lot of fun rides and there are plenty of food options to please everyone in the family. The lines are doable and the kids love it!
