Great for kids!

We went on Retro Night when all the rides were $1. Great deal and the kids had a blast! Lots of things to see and taste!

Not much has changed at the Santa Cruz beach boardwalk from years past. I would suggest not going on a Tuesday night unless you like large crowds and long lines for the rides. Tuesday night is dollar ride night. I would suggest bring a Pepsi can and pay for the unlimited wrist band on Wednesday or Thursday night.

Cool time, is it a carnival? Yes. But what's wrong with a carnival overlooking the Monterey Bay?! I think this is a great example of Americana. Get a giant Corn Dog or order of Garlic Fries and take in the scenes!!

We stayed in Monterey, did Pismo Beach and Carmel drives, if you like shopping & food, then that is for you. The Innkeeper suggested Santa Cruz as we thought the beach at Monterey was dirty. An hour later Santa Cruz was the answer. Nice boardwalk and pier to walk, fair type foodies on the boardwalk, kids having fun, and a... More

We had spent a great time at Santa Cruz walking around the beach area and the board walk. Took lots of snaps and enjoyed the general festive atmosphere. Great place to visit with the families with so many sight seeing places around

We visited before noon which allowed us a large portion of the beach to ourselves. The beach had seaweed but you would still get down to portions that were clear. We stopped in at the taffy shop at the end which was delicious.

Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, Santa Cruz, CA - a great family adventure with lots of rides, refreshments, & carnival attractions. Located on the Santa Cruz Beach and near the Santa Cruz Surfer's Museum, this is a fun place for a day trip or a weekend getaway. Lots to see and do.

A great place to people watch except that at busy times when the people watching is at its best, so is the traffic and the parking is tough. You may luck out and find a parking meter at $1.50 an hour if you're looking for a shorter stay. Some parking meters are just past entrance to main parking lot at... More

This is one of my family's favorite places to go...with the clean beach right there plus all the rides and food options there is something for everyone. There is a good variety for different interests and age ranges plus the different events held on either the main stage or boardwalk itself ...it's a must to visit!!
