I walked up to the campus from my house, the walk through town wasn't to bad but once you get to the very steep hill that leads to the campus it get's good. The further towards the campus you get, the more nature you're immersed in. A perfect fusion of learning and nature, Passed a few streams on the way... More

Tour guide was excellent and very helpful re college requirements, college life, etc. My nephew was impressed with the campus, although he has his heart set on UCLA.

When we travel we like to visit college campuses, and we keep a Top 10 list - this made #4. The drive up is easy. It sits at the top of a rise along a pasture roadway. You enter this grove of trees (mix of Western Red Cedar, Douglass Fir and Coastal Redwood) and this campus in the trees pops... More

The campus tour we received was our best of the UC's by far! They took the time to provide our family with a private tour due to a mobility issue. Michelle was sooo informative and nice. The campus was quiet, clean and the mock dorm room was super cute.

It is hard to be particularly "objective" about this campus since I was one of the first students to attend this lovely campus in 1965 as a member of the Pioneer Class and have been an avid supporter of the school since then. I recently returned for a quick visit to see how things had changed. There are more colleges,... More

The campus was like a State Park. What a lovely, serene place to get an education. So different than other colleges I have visited. The grounds were well kept and the integrity of this wildlife area was clearly respected. Just beautiful!

We visited here on a college tour and this was the surprise of the trip. We had been told about this amazing place but had never quite imagined just how incredible it is. Hills, forests, gorges, amazing views, and fantastic weather. Not sure if it helps kids study, but it sure is a pretty place.

The campus at UCSC is the most beautiful of all the UC's. Built around a wilderness area, deer, racoons, squirrels and other woodsy animal share the campus with the students. The views from around campus are breathtaking. Students wander through redwood forest trails and meadows with deer grazing to classes. The gym and athletic fields look over the entire Monterey...
