Parking has been impossible for moving in and out. This time we found the Parking Office. Just inside the main gate, pass the red barn on the left. Turn right and a quick right again. You can buy an all day pass for 6$!

I walked around the campus and enjoyed some spectacular views of Santa Cruz. Parking is very expensive.

What an amazing campus. Absolutely beautiful in and of itself as well as some of the views it affords. Worth driving through. I also hear it is a pretty darn good school too ;-)

Some would say too much walking but I love to walk! We were here for a graduation and the graduation was kind of a mess but the rest was awesome!

My son attends college here, but even if he didn't I'd recommend visiting the campus it has acres of ocean front open space and is just beautiful. Ucsc is also an excellent university however, I'd highly recommend it even if it wasn't one of the most beautiful college campuses I've ever seen!

I love this school! they have some of the best professors and conferences worldwide. It is eco and student friendly. Truly a wonderful place to visit for Science, the Arts, Music and cows and Redwoods and Gorgeous rolling meadows that overlook the Monterey Bay

At least that's what they said when I was a student at UCSC in the 1980s. For me too it wasn't the perfect school for me academically. I wanted to study journalism and there is no school of journalism at UCSC. But to be able to walk through the redwoods, look down on a spectacular view of the Monterey Bay,... More

How many campus' do you know about that have deer walking around, signs that say "Beware of Mountain Lions", and hiking trails to get to and from class amongst redwood trees, all while having a perfect view of the Pacific Ocean? Unlike many other universities, UCSC tries to keep it small so that classrooms are smaller and there's a better... More

Worth a visit if you're considering colleges and in the area--altho you may have a hard time leaving--this is one of the world's most beautiful campuses. Its grown alot since the old days but still inspiring.
