Our family went to Great America for the fist time on Memorial Day. We are veteran Disney people and really love how well Disney Parks are run and managed, so our review will have this as a basis. Here is the summary review. Read on for details. The park is fun, but expect to have many things go VERY slowly... More

I love Great America! If you do the season pass you get free parking which saves you huge dollars. If you get the meal plan you save even more dollars. What i like is young or old there is something to do. The water park is fantastic in the summer and if you go at off times you get the... More

Everybody should relive their childhood and come here for the rides. It was a lot of fun and the lines weren't as bad as I thought it was going to be. I do say that the food was a bit expensive but that's expected in any amusement park. Plan it out and start early!!!!!!

As if their admission price were not high enough California Great America Theme Park charges $15.00 to $20.00 to park in their enormous parking lot near the 49er football stadium. In addition, $7.95 for a cup of Dippin Dots (equal to about one scoop of ice cream) is excessive. A family of four would spend a fortune for one day... More

Today was my first time at Great America. Plus side: - Affordable when you compare it with Disney parks. Still I recommend getting your tickets online to really save. - Fun rides and lines were not too long. I am not a big fan of the crazy rollercoasters but there were a few of those too if that's your cup... More

We went with a group from a middle school event. The park was moderately crowded. We decided to go for the fast lane option ($190 for 4) since we wanted to do lots of rides in a 1/2 day. Our takeaways: - There are some very cool rides. The 2 wooden coasters, flight deck, drop zone, and even psycho mouse... More

Being theme park enthusiasts, my family was excited to cross another one off our lists however, California's Great America fell short in many ways. We visited the park on open season day and they had only two ticket scanners. The lines were long. So many guests were asking questions and unfortunately the employees themselves didn't know the answer. We asked... More
