Unless you want to see what the aquatic center looks like the park is un-remarkable. There are other much more interesting parks in the region. Try the park around the historic Hayes Masion in southern San Jose.

I work nearby, so I go here for lunch almost every other day. I usually bring an extra half loaf of bread for the ducks and geese. One of them stole my teriyaki tofu one day, but it was all good. The park is also a great place to read and catch some rays.

Central Park is nice place to take the little ones of all ages. There are a couple different play grounds to meet the needs of your toddler or older child. The ducks were nice to look at (a little stinky though) the water portion should be drained and cleaned. We saw a rabbit and followed it to take his/her picture!...
