We were so glad that our stopover in Santa Barbara happened on a Sunday. This gave us a chance to see the artists creations in Shoreline Park, near Stearns Wharf. This little market occurs on Sundays and we saw some beautiful art, while enjoying the beach and Stearns Wharf. Plenty of parking. Not too expensive.

Santa Barbara's Shoreline Park is such a nice way to feel what Cali has to offer you. We walked North to South. Towards our left the gorgeous Los Padres National Forest and the Pacific Ocean sitting on our right. Sunsets here are amazing.

Make sure you walk down the steps to go to the water line and walk along the rocks by the ocean. Made my day. Nice place to picnic

All kinds of recreation go on in the beautiful space; jogging, biking, craft sales, sunning, and swimming. We took a jog along the wonderful bike/jogging paths and admired the craft sales displayed by the wharf. The beach was very nice as well. There were several people that resided in the park but they didn't disturb anyone or present any issues... More

The beach was dirty. Although the waves were not huge, and the water was clear, the beach had a lot of trash and dead seagulls. Gross!

Great walk especially after dinner, watching the sun go down. Bicycling is fun with paths and all. It's maintained nicely, always clean. One very noticeable thing about SB is it is very clean and neat. It shows pride in their community which keeps me coming back every few months.

We have visited Santa Barbara many times, and always find the shoreline park a pleasant experience. This time, we shopped the arts & crafts Sunday show from end to end, road both a pedal bike and ebikes along the path with the Pacific as our backdrop. There seem to be many "homeless" taking refuse on the grass under the palm... More
