It is a beautifully maintained park, where you can have many different views of the ocean, wharf, and mountains. On Sundays you can shop around of many painters and art crafts works. Also is the best option to exercise, bike, walk and relax !!

This park is right at the beach in Santa Barbara, There is a very nice and long walking and bike path which extends the length of this park. Car parking is available for $2.00 per hour in lots at the beach and bikes are available to rent at State Street nearby. For skateboarders, there's a great skate bowl, too. As... More

Always a favorite! Simply beautiful! This trip the stinky sea grass/kelp is piled on the beaches, so not so pretty, but it is a natural thing that happens seasonally I think. It smelled pretty bad, but the views? Sensational! Love to walk the entire stretch to the wharf and thensome.

This park is beautiful, right on the coast, surrounded by mountain ranges and palm trees and ocean views. Awesome. There was a crafters sale on when we visited last May- not sure if it's a weekly event, but there were some neat booths to check out!

You can't beat the view or the access - free parking. Plenty of picnic benches with grills free first come first served. Many a birthday or holiday are celebrated here. And it's the best seat in town for the 4th of July.

First of all you are by the water so how can you go wrong when you're by the water!! People are out running/walking/just enjoying life. Kids are running around playing. There is a lot of sea life to be seen. Nice to go for a stroll and enjoying the California sunshine.

One can't help but get a sense of the history of this area when they visit the shoreline. Imagine a ship coming ashore as people explored this area, or where they fished if they came another path. The beauty is inspiring. In December it was quiet, and still wonderfully pleasant. Gorgeous views and children playing while people enjoyed the sunshine... More

This is a fabulous park that runs horizontally next to the ocean with two sidewalks and perfectly manicured grass (like all the grass in SB). People walked, ran, strolled, and walked many, many well behaved ( like everything in SB) dogs that they meticulously cleaned up after.
