A beautiful, big park. Right on the water, and plenty of space for dogs, kids, picnicking, whatever. If you are able, go down the stairs to the beach and check out the ocean from up close and personal. There are a lot of things to do in Santa Barbara, and you should stop here.

We had a great time walking about a mile or so along shoreline. Great scenery, we walked along a beautiful beach, and certainly could have stopped to soak up some sun. At the bottom of the hill was a fun seafood shack.

I really like this park. We spent a whole day there on our last trip to SB. We were on the South(?) end and BBQ'd burgers on the beach and watched the sailboats go in and out of the Marina. The views from here are terrific and we even saw seals and dolphins in the water. Our girls are teenagers... More

A walk along the shoreline and up a bluff takes you to this beautiful overlook right along the Pacific. Playground and several public restrooms. Steps down to beach for gathering stones and enjoying the sand and sandpipers close up. You might watch surfers or Dolphins or the many dog walkers in the park. A good endpoint for a walk from... Beautiful beach, and great place for a stroll, I was solo and felt very safe. The Park was crowded but not to bad. I was also enjoyable to stop and watch the skate boarders in the special park along the park trail, A great place to people watch and excersise.

Nice big park at the top of the hill to the north of the Santa Barbara beach area. Parking is available and the park is usually not very crowded. There is a bike path leading from the park down to the harbor and beach. Great for Frisbee.

You can choose to ride a bicycle, walk with your dog, run on a skateboard or just rest and appreciate the view laying on the grass. But if you prefer, you can have a drink or have a lunch/dinner in good restaurants in font of the park.

Separate bike/skate path, lots of palm trees, some shade, large beach, great sand. There are beach sand volleyball courts, some cafe's and the pier to visit. Great bicycle riding cause it's FLAT!
