Where else can you go to a beautifully restored old theatre that looks like you are sitting in the courtyard of a gracious Spanish hacienda looking up at the stars in the sky while you watch the organ rise from under the stage. Don't miss it!

As we started our day on State Street at the most amazing Mexican restaurant across the street, Carlito's. We took a peak inside the Arlington Theatre, a movie was playing. I wish we could have seen the theatre with the lights on. The place looked breathtaking even in the dark. I couldn't believe they actually show movies there, I could... More

Worth a visit to see an event. As the lights dim, the stars come out on the ceiling. Beautiful theater.

This is a heritage old-time movie theatre with over-the-top decor. You have to go to a movie just to see it.

What a thrill to watch a first run movie in such a large and historical theater. The movie screen was great, the sound was adequate but the ambiance is first class.

This is a unique theater that not only shows movies but has a stage for theatrical productions. It is quite large but is very lovely inside.

This is a very large theater, I think it seats 2000. When you sit in the seats, the sides make it look like you are sitting in the courtyard of a Spanish house - a very big house. Most interesting.

Just saw Mr. Sedaris and realized that it has been too long since attending an event at the Arlington. What a cool and unique theater. It's massive inside, yet has a home town feel. The Spanish details and starry sky ceiling are one in a million. Whether you're there for film festival or snowboard/surf flick, it never fails to complete... More

We went to the Arlington to see a David Sedaris talk. The theater takes you back to another era. Its most unique feature is a Mexican village built into its interior walls. The seats are another matter. I am tall and when I sat down there was little room to squirm. The legroom was minimal. It almost made me long... More
