The Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon were my favorites here. They have a beautiful tasting area! Also bought candles here. We were with a large group so we had a picnic lunch outside--very nice.

Have you ever driven by a place and say next time...That was us, but no more! Driving onto Gainey's property was spectacular, Old Vines, picnic area, variety of vines to peruse through seeing the different ways to grow grapes. Then the tasting room, a vision to hard to put into words, you must see. And the stories while tasting the... More

We did the barn tasting this past weekend and it was a ton of fun! Its a bit more than the regular tasting room but they take you through the vineyard in an open jeep to an over 100 year old barn where you then taste 5 wines. The gentleman serving us wines was a pleasant to chat with and... More

Had the opportunity to go thorough the vineyard and have the wine tasting at an old barn within the property. Great sauvignon blanc. Great service.

What I love about Gainey is not only their premium wines but the tasting is actually in a barrel room so you get the real feel of the whole experience. The grounds are just lovely and the staff is knowledgeable and entertaining.

Stopped in for a tasting, but ended up just splitting a bottle because it seemed to be a better deal. Cool to sit in the courtyard and just relax. G Man

At Gainey you enter the winery through their gift shop where you are given a glass - there are several places set up for tasting and you are encouraged to wander around with your glass. The main tasting area is a warm, candle lit room lined with barrels. The grounds here are lovely and the views spectacular. Another good choice... More

Gainey offers a lovely tasting room, it is very interesting to walk around here. Perhaps even more interesting to take a walk outside and sample the grapes straight from the grapevine! When we visited, they were setting up for a wedding here, and it looked lovely. But at the end of the day, Gainey wines were not my favorite although... More
