This is a natural topographic bowl with very high walls and a great sound characteristic. At the top of the ballistrades are homes whose residents not only get free concerts, but as the marijuana smoke rises from the crowd. a free high.

THE best place I've ever been to for concerts. It's roomy but the seats all have a great view, and the crowds never seem overwhelming. I've seen a few over the years but the best recently was Thievery Corporation a couple months ago. Fantastic!

It's a pain to park here but it's sure worth it. It's a very intimate setting and we have seen several wonderful bands including FUN and Lorde. Enjoy!

There are literally no bad seats at the bowl - it is one of the best places to see any show! The walk up to the actual bowl from the gates is well worth it!

I've been to several events here the last couple of years including Willie Nelson and John Fogarty and it's always good. With the renovations now complete, it's better than ever. This venue isn't that big but it still attracts top talent. Parking's not bad over at the high school, a short walk away. It's just a way cool place to... More

Great place to see a concert. Concerts stop at 10-10:30 out of respect for the surrounding neighborhoods. Wide range of performers come through... some great names in a relatively small venue. Highly recommended.

I felt like we were in a rustic and cool place to watch a concert. Parking is a ways off the beaten path, so you'll need to walk a short distance. The bowl is rather quaint and every seat has a good view. Acoustics were good. I really like the SB Bowl and will return in the future.

Nice size venue. All the seating provides wonderful views of the stage. Amazing views of Santa Barbara from the upper vendor area. Parking can be a problem.

Amazing spot for concerts - saw Foster the People. Sits roughly 8K I believe, but feels smaller. Just a short walk off State Street though residential neighborhood, which makes it 5 stars on location alone.

This was our first trip to the bowl. We loved it. Great venue with no bad seats it seemed. We were in section I. Great sound and upscale concession. Walk if you can from downtown and avoid the traffic.
