I walked the waterfront around the marina and the pier. It's a really great walk and I enjoyed it. There are some places to eat or get a drink but the water and the boats are the attraction. Really nice.

Nice area along the shore of the Pacific Ocean at Santa Barbara, California. There is a nice pier with lots of shops, restaurants, etc. extending out into the ocean which provides great views of the ocean, The seaside, and the mountains! The beach itself could use a little cleanup. Parking is available out on the pier or on the street.... More

Charming place with lots of restaurants but nothing exciting to see here. We walked around and enjoyed the ocean breeze and looking at the birds.

Cool ocean breezes, the sound of (small) waves pounding the shore, kayakers, paddleboaters, sailboats, barges and cruise ships - spectacular scenery. The pier is worth a visit, you can see everything there within a few minutes.

Santa Barbara water front is very pretty and you can take a leisurely stroll along the wharf and the break water. Lots of beautiful boats in the harbour. We enjoyed it and are visiting from Australia

We were very excited to go to the beach unfortunately there were dead baby seals and birds on the beach along with oil from the oil rigs. After our walk along the shore line we noticed that the sand would not come off our feet. The reason was the sand was attached to the oil. We had to soak our... More

The views looking back from the beach toward the mountains are spectacular. The pier is crowded most days but it's a nice stroll. Nice views of the harbor and town.

Lost $300 private property when thieves broke into vehicle. Worthless security at Marina. Do NOT leave anything visible in your vehicle. Drug addicts need everything that is not nailed down. I had a club on the steering wheel and that kept my vehicle from being stolen.
