It was ok. You have to keep your eyes on the road. Spectacular vistas but I felt bad for the residents. Did check out an estate sale which made for some unique souvenirs.

The park overlooks the beach, the harbor, the islands. You can't go wrong doing the scenic drive by and stopping at the park. Take short walks or a longer one down to the harbor and the restaurants there. Parking is free or park across the street if the lots are full.

While vacationing in LA, we drove up to Santa Barbara for the day on the PCH. Once you get past Ventura the view is just beautiful, the mountains on one side and the ocean on the other. When we arrived in Santa Barbara we ate at the historic Sambo's restaurant, which was recommended by a family member, and that was... More

We enjoyed the scenic drive...takes about an hour. Worth it. You start at the visitors center by the beach. You drive along the coast then through Hope Ranch. STUNNING homes and views. Wow! The route takes you through the Riveria and Montecito and back to the beach. Gives a great perspective on the area. Views are spectacular. Houses and amazing.... More

Arguably the most extensive stretch of CA's coastline one can enjoy without ever leaving your car. From the oil derricks off shore, lined up like a row of soldiers one after another to the distant Channel Islands to the coastal range and miles and miles of curving white beaches this is a great drive. Hint; Take the drive at the... More

We drove from LA along the PCH to Santa Barbara, beautiful. Houses line parts of the PCH so you can't see the water but there are various spots to see the beauty. Lots of places to stop and walk along the beach. Once you arrive in Santa Barbara, be sure to spend some time checking out the beautiful architecture.
