I enjoyed my wine tasting was treated great by the staff but compared to other wine tastings I have over the years I would rate this facility/wines as average. I just did not think the wines was as good as other Wineries. Just a matter of taste possibly. Did enjoy getting to keep the wine glass and did have 6... More

On our walk down State Street towards the beach, we went to few wineries and Santa Barbara Winery was our second stop. The indoor section has a bar in the middle, a souvenir shop in the front, and a wine barrel room with several tables for patrons in the back. You get 6 wine tastings for $10 (either from a... More

Our wine taster guy was knowledgeable and friendly. We tasted six wines (white and red) and even got to keep the glass all for a total of $10. Apparently you can also purchase a cheese platter and enjoy your wine tasting out on the patio. There was even free parking around the corner.

At 5:00 p.m. on a Saturday afternoon, the place was too busy to give individual attention; but my grown daughters and I didn't mind. Tutorials on each selection would have been nice; but with the huge crowd, it just wasn't practical. We enjoyed our time here. Dozens of oak barrels make for the vineyard ambience; and after a few tastings,... More

The wines that we tried were very good. The wine glasses that we drank from were nice and say Santa Barbra Winery on the glass. I was surprised to find that the glasses weren't cleaned well before she wrapped them. There was red wine stain still in the glass when I got it home. It was nice of them to... More

A group of 4 of us did a three wine tastings on a Saturday afternoon. This was our last stop and we arrived 30 minutes before closing, which is plenty of time to do a tasting since it wasn't crowded. The two bartenders weren't very pleasant nor knowledgeable about the wines and our questions. They were definitely rushing us out... More

This tasting room is next door to the Lafond winery tasting room in down town Santa Barbara. We were unable to travel to the winery. The selection of wines was excellent and only cost $10, which purchased your wine glass and went towards any wine you may have wanted to buy.

Excellent Chardonnays and Pinot Noirs and very reasonably priced. When we are in CA we always make plans to come to Santa Barbara so we can stop at the Santa Barbara Winery. The staff is very helpful and there's a beautiful outdoor seating area to enjoy the wines after you've done your tasting. We love to sit there and people... More

Really nice tasting room with a comfy patio area. The wines are all very good for a decent price. We rejoined the wine club and look forward to the next shipment!
