A must do, so beautiful, no rush ride. Just do it Most hotels offer free bikes and it's mostly a flat ride. It follows the coast as the name would suggest. You also pass the Zoo.

My son and I rented the mountain bikes from our hotel , Bacara and off we went. A beautiful winding trail with plenty of action and challenge. Spent 2 hours on the path. Excellent !

There is a paved path along the beach to ride, walk, run, jog or blade. It can get a bit busy. But most people were courteous to each other and having a great time. You can't beat the views

We rented bikes and road up and down the bike path. It's nice because it is a dedicated bike path most of the way. Stop and eat along the way (We rented a bike lock for $1). A great way to get a little exercise in so you can go ahead and have that dessert!

Nothing says Santa Barbara like riding a Surry Bike on Cabrillo Blvd. if you're lucky to be in SB on a Sunday, walk instead up and down the boardwalk and enjoy the arts and crafts show. Many people make their living creating unique gifts and selling them on Sundays. Where the mountains meet the sea, you will take many beautiful... More

we stayed at a local hotel a block off the beach. We brought our bikes and never moved our car once. The bike trails are great to get you around town. Very fun, quite crowded but it was also peak tourist season.

Just took two "bike rides" here. On was on a "Deuce Coupe" rented from Wheel Fun as the beach and the other a real "kick" on an electric "ebike" rented from Karen at ebike of Santa Barbara. Both experience were extremely enjoyable on this safe and beautiful place to ride.

This is a nice way to see around. You ride along the beach, stop for a bite to eat, take pics...plus you get to work out what you ate. We rented one of those double bikes...really fun!

Use the sidewalk. Locals use the bike path for safe biking as Cabrillo Bl. is dangerous to ride. Back in the day you could ride the path and not have to dodge fools standing in the path taking a picture or pushing their stroller right in front of you. I don't even bother any more.

This was a great way for us to get the kinks out before continuing our journey up the coast. Not too challenging a ride, but definite exercise. I love seeing the sights from a bicycle.
