First off, it is free, which is always a plus. You may make a donation if you wish, but there is no pressure to do so. It is a smaller museum with some fascinating info. Do not pass up the short video. The staff (volunteers) are very informative, and one we spoke with at some length had actually met Ronald... More

Really great place that you won't believe is completely free. Great for all ages and has great guides with interesting personal stories. The place has wonderful computer displays that feature speeches, videos, and pictures as well as some great artifacts. Was for sure my favorite stop in Santa Barbara!

I live in Santa Barbara but had never visited this museum of Reagan memorabilia. It's free and we stopped by for about an hour and really enjoyed it. The docent was friendly and knowledgable and oriented us and then left us to explore. All the technology works and some is quite clever. No matter what your politics are, it is... More

Fun place to visit if you love Ronald Reagan. Our teenage sons loved it. Our 11 year old son liked it although he wasn't as interested after half hour

Nice presentation of Regan's legacy and how the serenity of the "Ranch" influenced him and his desire for peace and reflection. The 30 minute film is well worth the time and the interactive displays were first rate. Free and free parking, that's historic in today's crazy world by itself.

Because you cannot actually go to the ranch, which is nearby but inaccessible except for special exceptions, the center gives you a sense of the ranch with its interactive exhibits and helpful volunteer tour guides. They show a short film, which we were hoping was more about the ranch itself but while it includes the ranch, it is more about... More

I visited here last week with my parents. Had seen it and walked by it many times, but never went inside. It was surprisingly (to me) informative and interesting. The Ronald Reagan Center is also larger than I thought it was, having an entire second floor dedicated to highlights of Ronald Reagan's presidency. When you enter, the first thing you... More

My wife and stopped by as we are visiting Canadians but know about Reagan as President and thought this would be interesting. In order to get in you must sign in on their computer terminals as you enter. Both of us tried to sign in a total of 5 times and could not get through before the computer stopped us.... More
