What a beautiful afternoon we just spend lazily kayaking around the harbor, out to see seals, under Stearns Wharf and back to be greeted by Stephanie, who head helped us in and then, an hour later, out of the water. She was very good with words to explain how to do things, making the procedure very simple. I would recommend... More

Kayaking the channel Islands are definitely worth doing. Our lead guide, Mike made our trip memorable and very enjoyable. I took my 2 sons (11 and 14). Mike's laid back air made us all feel comfortable and at ease. He is very experienced in leading a wide variety of personalities and kayaking abilities. When he wasn't bringing us through caves... I took my two boys (8&10) on the sea cave excursion for the day and we had the best time! Our guide, Ben, was wonderful and knowledgeable and managed to answer all 5,000 questions my boys came up with. My boys could not stop thanking me for the adventure and have revisited the stories over and over again. Channel island... More

We loved, loved, loved our day kayaking through and around the caves. Our guide, Ben, was wonderful. He taught both of us everything about kayaking (and we knew nothing), he was fun, friendly and knew tons about the islands and wildlife. HIGHLY recommend this experience if you have the chance.

My husband and I did the Caves and Coves Classic tour and had an absolute blast!! This adventure was definitely the best part of our vacation to California. We were a little reluctant at first because of the price, however it surpassed our expectations! We felt like we totally got our moneys worth out of this trip! Our guides were... More

The preparation, the guides, the food, and the experience were unmatched. If you have EVER thought of going kayaking on the ocean, do this trip. I have been ocean kayaking many places. No trip has been as good as this. Do it!

This was an amazing day for our group. JD made us all feel comfortable even though we had one in our group that was terrified of the water. We saw so many great things on the cave tour. I also have to praise the Island Packer ferry that went out of their way to let us experience the amazing wildlife.... More

We went for a kayaking and snorkeling trip to Santa Cruz which I would highly recommend to anyone interested in seeing marine wildlife. Already on our way to the island, we watched grey whales, sea lions and dolphins. Kayaking was very adventurous and half of the participants went swimming unintentionally. It was great fun anyways. After enjoying a tasty lunch... More

C.I.O. led an excellent adventure for my and my wife from Scorpion Beach on the Santa Cruz Island in the Channel Islands. Every staff encounter was top-notch, friendly, knowledgeable, proactive. The setting is unreal. In an 8-hour day, we saw: grey whales, humpback whale, common dolphins, sea lions, island foxes, garibaldi, sheepshead, opaleye, blacksmith, sea cucumber, starfish, and tons of... More

My wife, son (18), and daughter had an excellent day on Channel Islands. It started with the Island Packers ferry ride to the islands where we got to see a baby great white shark and dolphins. We then had an enjoyable kayak trip with Matt as our guide. Matt was funny, knowledgeable, and experienced. He ensured that every cave we... More
