We had a fantastic team bonding experience this week kayaking the sea caves with the great guides of CIO! It was turn key for us ( and we are NOT the experts) they put us all at ease!! We saw dolphins and whales while surrounded by the gorgeous Channel Islands National Park. Can't wait to go again!!! Thank you

The guides were great and made it a lot of fun. I wasn't planning on doing anything like this but I went with my work and it turned out to be so much fun. I want to plan a camping trip and another trip with Channel Islands Outfitters.

The 5 hour guided kayaking tour on Santa Cruz island with Matt was wonderful. Everything was organized and ready to go when we arrived. They provide wetsuits, jackets, and water shoes for you if you need them. Matt discussed safety concerns with us before we left and made sure we were all comfortable navigating the kayaks. We got to kayak... More

We had soooo much fun! Very profesional, knowledgable, and fun! Totally worth the money. Our guide was relaxed, and was good about asking us what we wanted to do and being flexible.

This was a great adventure, a way to explore Santa Cruz Island that not many people get to do. We really enjoyed the sea caves, especially the cave where the seals were. JD was our guide, and he did a good job. There were six people on our trip, including an older couple in their late sixties or early seventies.... More

Everything was organized, well equipped and pleasant. From the time we left the dock in Ventura, every person associated with Channel Island Outfitters was awesome. I had never been in a single person kayak, but with JD's guidance and patience, I had a great time! I'll be back!

JD gave us a great tour of the sea caves and coastline around Scorpion Ranch on Santa Cruz Island. A fun and sometimes exciting kayak trip, depending upon the mix of wind, waves, and tides. Numerous birds and sea creatures to see along the way. Highly recommended! We'll be back again.

Like most others, I had a terrific time with JD as our guide. We had a total of 5 people for the day, plus the guide and spent our hours in some of the amazing caves. Harbor seals occasionally joined our small group as JD told us of the islands' history and animals. The company is incredibly good about communicating... More

This company has it down. They cover all the bases, and make sure you have a safe, fun time and get your money's worth. My guests were blown away by the experience. Our guide, JD, was funny, friendly, encouraging, and very knowledgeable about the island's history, geography, animals, and marine life.

This trip was an adventure I had never even expected! It was the perfect balance of exposure to the wild outdoors and the safety of companionship. My guides we're informative and encouraging without being overbearing. I would definitely do it again!
